I spoke too soon -- it looks like Bittrex has its own problems. While my coins have shown up there, they've got my account disabled from trading for some unspecified reason, even though I've successfully completed basic verification. Word to the wise -- always try depositing a small amount to an exchange *and* go ahead and actually try to trade it before depositing significant amounts, because it seems that they'll gladly accept your funds, but will give you no indication that trading is disabled on your account until the point where you actually try to submit a trade. Sad

Hehe .. i just discovered that i still have an account over there and even still some few satoshi _and_ so even some BCCoshi (or what we're gonna call them)...

Seeing that BCC is going on to a dive and pretty cheap, i though .. well, at least a nice way to get some of it .... but..

Yeah, as you said .. even after gettiny my phone verified _and_ even done all the needed steps to get enhanched verification status .... my account is still disabled .... So ..

Waiting for another support ticked ..... and the crypocoin-clock is ticking and ticking and ..... MOH

Stone age or what? Wink

I was going to say, I wish I'd gone with Bittrex now. I see that it actually has a higher XCP price and higher volume at the moment. Sad

Also, trying to add some ETH to unblock things, maybe that works, but when trying to add eth and generate an adress is only "Generating..." and no address... errors or account blocked manually.

I have processing SC for 17 days and they do not send and can't add ETH as is not generating address. Poloniex SUX.

Funny they had people to verify my account to level 2 in 1 day before adding the money in their site.  Undecided

Yah it's somewhat strange that poloniex uses BCH as symbol for Bitcoin Cash whilst virtually every other site and exchange and especially the Bitcoin Cash website uses BCC....

But ... i hope Busoni will get that and correct that mistake.... Wink

Its really unfortunate when two crypto coins not compatible decide to use the same name.  It'll lose value from both in the end by creating confusion, wheres the best place to discuss BCH.  I hope they are considering a name change.
Whats the chances of localbitcoins doing similarly I wonder

Does Poloniex emails get sent out or is that a problem anyone recognise

There are news:

Bitcoin Cash $BCH balances will be credited by 8/14, for more information:

Wellwell ... so there may be hope for my coins which are still stuck in their nirvana...

If I knew they plan to do this, I would've kept my btc balance there.
I wonder if it is because of the inquiries of users or of the fear losing customers  Grin
though I believe the recent issues have slightly impacted user's trust on poloniex

You never sent BCH to Poloniex. You never bought BCH on Poloniex. Poloniex never promised anything regarding BCH. I don't see how you could win that case.

Just like in my case .... poloniex is holding the withdraw order back .... which i did around 25 hours _before the planned split time_...

So, in effect, as long as poloniex does nothing to reimburse my potential loss, they made me a problem by simply doing nothing....

But anyways, according to the last press release from poloniex ... they're planning to at least pay out all BCC which are correspondent to the local wallet values a user had at the time of the split..

Which _SADLY_ does not tell me, what will happen with my coins still in nirvana, erm, in transit...

Mhm ... well well .... i had so much patience over so much time..... Waiting another week to hopefully get my btc "back in business" and probably the bcc i should have right now is frustrating and sad .. and even makes me additional losses .... but it's just a week from now...... (or 10 days even...)

I opened a support ticket about BCC/BCH and was first given copy pasta answer saying "read our latest press release".  I demanded more information and threatened litigation if I was denied rightful access to my BCC/BCH as per their TOS section 18.

This ticket was promptly responded to with,

"We're sorry for the inconvenience, in case the tokens are credited they will be credited to all eligible customers at the same time.

Unfortunately we are not able to credit any at the moment and cannot guarantee they will be credited in the future.

Sincerely,
Poloniex Support Team"

Then my ticket declared resolved and deleted from freshdesk.

Their TOS does not block small claims court, which is where most US citizens with less than $10k in losses would be filing suit anyways.  And by their own recently updated TOS, the tokens deposited to trade with are acknowledged by the user and the exchange as the user's properties, or the user is an authorized handler of said token properties.

By this standard, the BCC/BCH tokens are owned by the user who deposited BTC into their account and did not loan it out (i.e. used for normal market-limit and stop-limit as well as marginal collateral).

Now, I do understand the fledgling nature of BCC/BCH, and polo's potential reluctance to open trading pairs while the side-chain develops further; but fact of the matter is that the BCC/BCH tokens that polo currently hold are primarily the properties of their users, whom they are denying properly crediting to, AFTER a precedent setting action like the ETC accreditation when ETH hardforked.

This shit is a joke to win in small claims and then simply put liens on Tristan's property(s).

I am not an attorney and this is not legal advice.  My discussion of litigation is currently pure speculation as I work to remove all my available assets off polo indefinitely.

Personally I think Poloniex can't credit those BCH, simply because they have liquidity problems and had to turn to "fractional banking", explaining the large amount of complaints of people missing funds, slow withdrawals, claiming that certain coins have "wallet problems" while other exchanges don't seem to have problems with LTC, Lisk, etc.

And Poloniex? They keep shut about it, not a word, trollbox closed.

I would not leave one penny on Poloniex right now.

Remember Cryptsy? MtGox? BitMarket? CoinEX? BTC-E? McxNOW? Mintpal? SwissCEX? Need to say more?

Be warned, you will lose it all.

Great times ahead for Decentralized Exchanges though.

BCC/BCH is linked to BTC. Other altcoins don't matter. Most people complain about altcoin withdrawals. Nothing to do with BCC.

Some people have problems withdrawing BCC, but many others don't, so your theory doesn't seem legit.

Withdrawing BCC/BCH? Do you even read what you write?
Poloniex didn't convert BTC to BCC (or BCH, whatever you call it) yet and they won't.

If everyone would withdraw their coins right now, Poloniex couldn't even do that. They are short of coins, that's what's causing all the delays.

There's not enough BTC on their balance to credit everyone their BCH and if they did, they would exist as a number only.

PoloniEx is near empty.

Withdraw now you can... you will lose your coins, just like Cryptsy, MtGox and many others, all the same signs.

I took all my coins out of polo two days ago due to BCC fiasco.  Did not experienced any problems but I still hope to get my BCC some day.

edit: I think everybody should take their coins out.  What they have done is very bad (BCC fiasco) in my book, they do not deserve my trust ever!

NO WAR ! Glory to Ukraine !
I keep trying to withdraw my STORJ and deposit it into myetherwallet, Poloniex keeps saying invalid address. I tried to deposit into my bittrex storj wallet and it says invalid address. what gives?
For withdraw you must convert SJCX coins to STORJ.
On Polo use SJCX, not STORJ.

At least you got a response from them. How many days did it take them to get back to you?

Days? No, day.  This all happened over the past 24 hours.

Hhhmm.... that is getting more weird with every single reaction from poloniex..

As i told you earlier here on this thread, a friend of mine was credited with BCC _on the poloniex platform_ ... so in fact they're telling us lies to keep users calm...

And additionally, i still don't have my withdraw out there .. it's still staying in "awaiting approval" and i did not even get a answer on my support ticket....

I'm getting really angry at them now.......
