Dear Friends this is the announcement I promised yesterday:
Fairpay is in testing phase, and will be launched in few weeks.




Fairpay is:
- a NFC plastic card with payments charged with faircoin
- A POS app for merchants
- A tool for payments without fees.
- A banking software for making charge the card or exchange faircoin and official currencies, so easy as using a bank account.
- A cashout system for merchants with SEPA transfer in 24 hours.

This technology will make faircoin the most advanced tool for physical payment around there. Making so easy the user experience as a is to use visa or mastercard. Still neither bitcoin have all of it together.

Fairpay will be possible thanks to the collaboration between Faircoop and Chip chap.

It has been made public that the "Human Rights Award" granted by the Barcelona Film and Human Rights Festival will be awarded to me next Thursday.

This award was awarded in 2012 to Amy Goodman, 2013 to Ada Colau, 2014 to Julian Assange and 2015 to Som Energia. It is an honor and a responsibility, to be the next after all these people and collectives in this year's edition.

I also congratulate the courage of the Festival, by awarding to a cause that does not have the support of the state, corporate and media powers.

"We put huge efforts into creating the best possible FairCoin2. Implementing proof-of-cooperation properly is a delicate task. Each and every step needs to be taken very carefully. Every design decision must be questioned many times and proven to be right. The infrastructure around FairCoin2 e.g. alternative wallets, block explorers, payment tools,... also needs to be adopted for FairCoin2 which also requires a considerable amount of work to be done.

So, no. There is no release date at the moment. But as soon it is possible to make a reasonable estimation it will be posted here"
