some people are here only for profit. they dont care what fair coop is upto or what faircoin signifies. there were people who sold at 1250 remember 1 million dump at 1250 for 12.5BTC. So how must he be feeling today almost 300BTC lost  Grin .. I cannot see future.. may be tomorrow Enric might dump faircoin project and move onto something else. who knows how well fair coop might survive. But All i can see is present and at present I can see faircoop team is doing its best to move this forward. they have taken many hits with  dumps.. even after mintpal recovery people just dumped a lot of coin.. but every time we have recovred.

This time this is the most significant consolidation phase 100's of BTC have been sold and its still amazing that we are holding at 20K.. So lets hope for the best and the faircoin I have hoarded will be used as part of faircoin economy not sold on bitterex..

Im wondering why people are selling faircoin so low. Full sell order book on bitrex is only about 50k$. This amount is nothing in in term of what faircoop is planning for faircoin as a store of value.

Hi friends, trying to buy some faircoins with euros and i get this:

 Cry

i hope it was a temporal down

pd: Some updates with fair market?

thanks

It looks like the options are missing when you choose the spanish language.
Switching back to english or going directly to http://getfaircoin.net/ should help.

For updates on FairMarket, please see https://fair.coop/ and browse the activities.

Noticed to the dev. I think that is because he got a order method for all the ways of payments and dont noticed that this action made dissapear the payments in the other languages from the frontpage.

When you go to the spanish version one by one they are there: https://getfaircoin.net/es/downloads/faircoin-via-transferencia/

Otherwise. Fairmarket.

- The fairmarket dev team has growth. Now there are 3 people more involved in daily bases.  They are organizing to make all which is pending for get the beta version.  meanwhile some sellers has added their shops  for the testing  http://market.fair.coop/shops
- Chip chap and Betabank are working in the payment gateway and options. The ecosystem needs easy ways for cashin and cashout faircoins for sellers and users. So we plan important upgrades for all of them to be able to give this facilities for everybody.
- The ecosystem also needs a liquidity fund to give security to the users and sellers that they will get hability to buy and sell big amounts without affecting the markets. We are working on this with coopshares.net liquidity fund and also Chip chap is working with us to get investors for that liquidity.

I think that july will be an important month for that milestones and will give updates when we have it.

How come you don't have https:// certificate for http://coopshares.net I beleive the Mozzila Foundation have a free certificate scheme.

Also can you pay FairCoin from your wallet into FairSavings directly.  If so what are the benefits to FairCoop in doing so.

Coopshares ssl not seemed so urgent because we dont get any personal data in that site. It goes to getfaircoin.net
Otherwise i dont see any problem going there with http://www.coopshares.net or http://coopshares.net

Related fairsaving,  yes a merchant or a nonprofit could have their account in fairsaving and receive payments. It could add an online wallet
service at some point, probably with the help of http://www.betabank.de   who already have added faircoin online wallet for their members.

It lets users with less tech skills to use faircoin with the support of faircoop

Some people will avoid any website that doesn't have HTTPS:// even if they're not entering any personal info.  Also a lot of web browser do bring up security warnings when clicking on the link.  So will not visit the website at all either.  Also for a financial website not having a security certificate is very slack.  How can users trust any of the links on that page if it doesn't have a security certificate.

I'm using Chrome and this is the warning I get for http://coopshares.net

Quote
You attempted to reach www.coopshares.net, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as *.fair-coin.org. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of www.coopshares.net.
You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site.

Whatever is wrong with that link needs fixing quickly before more people get that warning. I don't know if it's a certificate problem or due to something else though.

Faircoin is a part of top20 altcoin index Coinoindex.com

The index includes top 20 alternative cryptocurrencies with largest capitalization and tracks the value of the portfolio (in BTC) in which each coin has a 5% share.
The index was created to be an analogue of Dow-Jones or S&P indexes for the altcoins arena.

Rules of index composition:
- Coin should be traded at at least three exchanges, with cumulative daily volume above $1,000 for last 14 days
- Coins that track a value of a certain asset (USD, CNY etc) cannot be included.
- Each coin in included in the portfolio with the same weight.

You can invest in the index by using NXT Asset Exchange, NXT Asset ID 13634675574519917918

Asset tracks the index value, and constant buy/sell liquidity is maintained.
You can invest using NXT cryptocurrency (you can exchange BTC to NXT directly in the NXT client from http://multigateway.org/ or at http://coinomat.com) or BTC at https://trade.secureae.com/

Seems like good news!  I imagine that Sebastien256 will be specially happy with that. This was three weeks ago: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.11403765    Cheesy

Hi,
I got a few thousands of faircoin at the beginnig, then forgot about them, not checking the wallet for months.
Now I restored my wallet.dat on a new pc.
My faircons are disappered, and there is not even an address to which they have been sent. What does it mean?
Can anybody help me?
thanks

At some point in time we introduced a special block (using a hardfork) and we’ve reclaimed presumably lost coins from the initial distribution. You can read back on this on bitcointalk. Fortunately you can reclaim them.
Send an email to support [at] fair-coin.org and we'd be happy to assist you in recovering your lost coins Smiley

Wow
Thanks mate.

and with that belief you will not sell them immediately and hold on to them  Grin
