I had to copy the wallet.dat to another computer actually, start faircoin wallet there. Close the wallet, put the wallet into the /users/username/appdata/roaming/faircoin dir

Then i had a round of -salvagewallet to recover some "lost" coins. Had the same kind of issue, got stuck constantly.

Tried that, it's now at 842 but going super slow. Is that normal? Maybe I'll leave it overnight. Thanks for your help.

they should come back after 50 confirmation if they are really minting.. If you waited enough then hit repairwallet in console and see if that helps

I really hope your coins are not affected by fork or rollback issues that occured in the past.. If you sent coins and they never get into blockchain for further confirmation then salvagewallet option will help you to cancel that raw transaction and you ll get your coins back..try repairwallet first if that didnt help then you can try salvagewallet option. I am not that expert here but all of my own experiences, try at your own risk and never forget to backup your original wallet file Tongue

I would just leave them be. I have a stake in a few coins which I see as good investments, all have their good points.
