It was mentioned at the start that you can download the wallet and start mining. But of course I need coins for me to be able to make this POS mining right? Maybe I just don't understand what was meant by that phrase "download and start mining" as if I just run the wallet sans coins and coins will just popup out of nowhere.

1.I compiled linux wallet and is working awesome
2.mining is good
3.4 active connection to famecoin network
4.staking also working good

Today I started the wallet and it synced with 6 conn.
We should put this on some exchange by ourselves
and not to wait for dev.
Dev is gone for sure.
Is there any exchange that will list the fame for free?

Dev promise few month ago bounty, swap coin any many thing ,but project still on hold.Why what's going on no update at all?
It was a second Dev that pumped the price with demo photos of the App, and tried to get Cryptopia to reset the chain only to dump on our heads. Coins are lost.

Dev, please say something about Fame coin. I have 200000 fame and hope it will be worthy some day that i mined it. Just give us some information are you still on this project or not?
Chain is dead, I tried really hard first time, and second time to support any developer but it just keeps on disappointing. I'm about two thousand dollars deep into this loss. From what I can tell, someone spooked him on slack with infromation protaining to another photo sharing app and then poof... GONE! Then the second dev made another app to pump Cryptopia.... Poof Gone.
Im not sure if a third comes along I will support it.

I too have loads of old fame coin, and i also greatly dislike tokens and waves, and all that crap/
Maybe we can fire up the old wallets and take the original coin forward?
