A lot ppl say  $%^& but still but there workers on them Smiley)
  Grin

At what time will you release the coin ?
March 20, I guess midnight (EST), I will announce exact time later.

What is the premine on this coin?  Don't think we're putting the Jupiter on this one, maybe the two Jalapenos though ...

Smiley
Ferengi wouldn't miss the chance to pre-mine it, I guess about 2000 blocks will be pre-mined, more or less. 2 Jalapeños fair enough, later consider mine on Jupiter.  Grin

i dont like the image/logo of the coin but maybe i mine it for starts,
hopping it gets somewere on the market
Logo will stay, but you are welcome!  Cheesy

10 billion per block, 1 quadrillion total?

I can tell this coin is really going to be worth something

Somebody else did this before.  It's called Pennies.  And now they're not traded ANYWHERE.
Thank you for the input. Cent (Pennies) are still traded on Cryptsy and BTER. FER is not intended to replace BTC and I am not Satoshi.  Grin This is planetary scale coin and Ferenginar cannot handle less than quadrillion coins. In the real world derivatives nowadays are worth 1.2 quadrillion dollars, yet these are valuable contracts. http://moneymorning.com/2013/09/18/heres-what-1-2-quadrillion-looks-like/

CENT is no longer traded on Cryptsy, has not been for months.  BTER still trades them but they are "locked down" - they do not allow deposits or withdrawals, you can only trade them internally.

Glad to see you reduced the coin supply though Cool
Yeah, unfortunately they took it down on Cryptsy, I have bunch of Cents with them, too bad cannot transfer them to BTER to increase my profit tenfold .

We already have GPL : Gold Pressed Latinum. That's the Ferenghi coin.
NO. Just like Meow(Kittehcoin) and Catcoin are different, same applies to Ferengicoin and "gold pressed latinum". This is not a competition, any coin is good for its own purpose. Gold pressed latinum was used by many worlds not only by Ferengi. GPL will not be damaged or affected in any way except positively and beneficial by Ferengicoin appearance. If GPL is as good as they say it is, it will flourish with or without Ferengicoin. It isn't affraid of new coin, isnt it? I hope it doesn't and GPL listed on this thread makes me feel proud of such support to my coin as well, because we are in the same boat called Scifi coins, aren't we? FER does not take any piece of GPL popularity. Just think about it, what coin is better or worse? None except that creativity and whole Scifi community benefits from FER and it promotes all Scifi coins existent and future ones. All existent SciFi coins become stronger with any new coin that comes on the market and get better market exposure with new coin such as FER. Let's say tomorrow you make Nagus coin, I will be happy for you and will support your coin as well. If you say that GPL is better than FER, let it be that way, I agree and never make any statement that will damage GPL or any other coin. If you insist that GPL should be the only coin in SciFI collection, I will oppose to such statement, because it makes everyone look bad including GPL dev. team.

> SHA-256 algorithm (just like Bitcoin to mine with ASIC, GPU or CPU)

I do not think that means what you think it means...
No, I never meant it is the BTC in any way, except the algorithm. What did you mean? So much mystery makes me guess what else is meant to be.
