i have old findcoins in ccex how can i trade em for new?

You can't trade directly for new coin on exchange. You need to move your coins to your own FindYouCoin wallet first and then follow the instructions here:

I am bought something FindYouCoins on C-Cex. Then I download FindYouCoins wallet but  will not sync. How do I replace FindYouCoins for FindCoins at the users guide on http://www.findcoin.info/exchange.html. ? Can I send coins directly the from wallet  exchange C-Cex to  FndToNewFndBurnAddressXXXXXXWXXnTA (quote: " 2) Send the coins you want to exchange to FndToNewFndBurnAddressXXXXXXWXXnTA )?

No! Do not send them from an exchange as we send the coins back to where they came from. Use the config file in the OP (very end) to sync your FindYouCoin wallet.

Burn the faucet funds, reduce our market cap and continue with development (no more coins will be generated other than the 25% POS). Release source code.
Its a good option, I prefer to use your time improving coin code, improve the faucet is not necessary

Hi guys,

Am new to the linux os managed to get my wallet up and running but now it's not syncing Sad I could have sorted this on windows but have no idea on this os i cannot find confg file,

If anyone has had to sort this problem on linux please help?

I spent hours lastnight trying lol

The conf file is  /home//.FindCoin/FindCoin.conf  note linux has case sensitive file system, the conf file is not generated by default, you will need to create it.

Thank you for the help fenghush, Find is located in my Downloads? So /home/username/Downloads/Findcoin/ and i created Findcoin.conf with mkdir in /Findcoin?/ i see the Findcoin.conf file i pasted add nodes in here threw terminal and didn't get any errors but when i look i see nothing in the file, any ideas where i have go wrong?

Thanks again bud
Directories whose names start with a dot '.' are hidden directories in linux, you can either use console to cd to /home/username/.FindCoin then use a console based editor such as nano or vi to create a file named FindCoin.conf or using the GUI file manager, press CTRL+L to open up the location bar and paste in /home/username/.FindCoin to open the directory and create the file. The .FindCoin directory is created by default when you start the wallet, it's where all the blockchain and wallet data is.

I got there used gedit im all synced up Smiley) Really appreciate help thank you, i can either send a new comer 1000 Find from us or just send you a straight 500, Pm me if boopy sent you an address. cheers again  Wink

EDIT: heading into town will be back few hours not ignoring

Let me confirm this just now I updated my .conf file and for first time I got 12 connections and everything is working smoothly and fine. About faucet can't say anything as I didn't receive yet but if I got something I would like to announce here in some post. Keep it up and update your .conf file asap.
Post/send me your address I'll give you some. The faucet has been removed for good.
