Fairly sure he changed port.

Trying to confirm that now. I now see what you mean.

Don't know how port 64565 got in there... but the firewall and node server are now listening on fixed port 11556

addnode=5.9.72.56:11556

Thank you.

We intended to change seednode within code, but that was going to be a change before this whole update occured(Confusion with timezones/pools updating early).

That will be something that needs updating, but in the mean time can we confirm this is a temporary fix or will act as a temporary fix?

If not we can update source code and update to protocol 70003 and disconnect old clients/nodes listening within it as well as change hard coded seednode.

If I can get confirmation from anyone if adding the nodes in the mean time can act as a fix until after hard fork occurs that would be wonderful.

Either way I am preparing for both possibilities.

We ask everyone do no transactions and back up their wallet. That goes without saying. We will inform everyone when they can do transactions again.

This does not mean not to update.

Back up your wallet, update and await further instructions.

If you already updated without backing up you should be fine, don't stress but await further instructions still.

No transactions include no trading, right?

Trading would be fine. Do not attempt to withdraw or deposit coins however.

If this makes sense, exchanges are not using coins during trading. They are keeping coins on cold storage and trading within their own database seperate from block chain.

However if you feel uneasy I would also not trade or do anything but update until we can confirm seednodes/nodes.
