ya that's what I'm thinking? I mean why waste electricity and NOT be mining for something else of value in the mean time.... should have at least had a progressive block reward ,, start from 1 and increased in increments,,, would still keep out the rig renters at launch I will back tomorrow
The team's reasoning for this is to ensure everyone has a chance to begin mining before rewards are activated, and to ensure instamining is impossible.
