Due the sharing formula adopted by the dev, it might not be profitable to invest in this coin.. Last minute investors might send in large btc that will likely make the coin too expensive to sell.

It looks like a permissions issue. try this command:
sudo chown yourusername:yourusername * -R
Also apply this command to check that you have the following library:
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev

I understand your concerns because of the way cryptos have been lately, but we address most of this in our whitepaper. Also, we would not have gotten verified by Coinsource, and soon to be CryptoAsian if we were not planning to continue with the coin afterwards. We have been working on this coin for two months already, and we are not just trying to waste all that work and planning to make a quick buck. You don't have to invest, but keep an eye on GreenBacks, and I'm sure you'll see the gains that our ICO investors get when the markets launch.

Greenbacks wallet is currently 100% working and also needs to be downloaded to invest, because you need to fill the GB address field in the investment platform. Even blocks are being created with the expected timing, you can check that on http://chainz.cryptoid.info/gb , so we already launched the wallet and it don't have any kind of issue

Just to clarify, we have more than 2 months planning this project, Bitcointalk account creation date won't say anything more than having a lot of time organizing all. Anyway, any doubt or theory is valid, we are in a free world
About your question, Bitcoin infrastructure have some important differences with Greenbacks infrastructure. Features like 100% PoS, 3 confirmations transactions and 30 seconds blocks makes this a solid infrastructure to what we want to achieve
