There are 2 huge features i know the team is working on, one is payments, tipping in groupchat. You can pay an individual in groupchat and you can make it rain and pay/tip every body in group chat which is amazing and i believe a first mover aswell. The other one i won't tell, obviously some members know it. GG is leaving other alts behind man.
The second secret one sounds intriguing. I just read that Kakao talk here in Korea has been given the all clear to pay household bills, probably not a good fit for Gemz though. Kaokao talk are also it seems moving into the UBER market and getting a slice of the taxi market here in Korea. These things might not be relevant to Getgems but what I do think is IF you develop a successful messenger brand then you really can push into others markets and business, I mean as long as it involves communication and a transaction of some sort a messenger brand can be in on it.
I hate to be the official Black Hat thinker but I personally don't think technically innovative features attract people much, I spent a year following Qora which Daniel also knows well I think. Qora has innovation and first moving coming out of its Butt but no one cared. I think exciting compelling features are what is important, features that drive people to download to try it.
for the tipping in groupchat and making it rain and pay/tip everybody in the groupchat, would be cool and unique if there can be a nice short and simple flash animation. like screen darkens a bit and GEMS falling down from the top of the screen and a message appears "YOU GOT X GEMS from [user]!" and below it is a button that says "Collect". is that possible?
I like such idea. Although asking to collect is too much and i guess its already received in the wallet, just a cool short animation will do it, maybe add the option to turn animation off in settings.
