Really hope for a update today!

the airdrop is currently only out for Android. not sure when is the iOS one. and one must have added enough friends (not sure how many is the minimum required) to probably start getting airdrop. but i am not sure how much and how long do those friends need to use GEMS App. ask peled for the fine details. also, if you were one of the Early Buyers last year, the presale perk hasn't started yet.

i believe the next blog post GEMS UPDATE that should be out soon in probably less than 24 hrs...should explain everything mentioned above and whatever else related to AirDrop.

Ive had problems from day one with my old phone. I have things running now but I don't see the airdrop adding anything. Does ti tell you how many you received? Mine triggered me to add friends which I don't want to do just yet....and thats all.

And have faith in Daniel, he said right in the presentation that paykey was developed with the proceeds of the getgems crowdsale.  He's not running from it.  This benefits us all in a very big way.

My Android gems is working flawlessly now.  The airdrop is addictive and I look forward to texting to boost my output.  Can't wait for the ios version which should be our any day.

I think Daniel is too clever to destroy gemz and his reputation with a new ICO for Paykey.

I'm sure Paykey will be part of Getgems project.

wtf. people incl me have invested real money into this and we are still waiting for a very important announcement after being ht by a bombshell last week out of the blue regarding paykey. Its not like im asking about when is the airdrop due on ios, this is totally new news and should have been explained even in minor detail after 43north

I can add that GetGems is VC backed by Magma which is a pretty big player and also invested in Waze. The title and op could be more frequently updated with these successful achievements.

I am glad Daniel has this viewpoint. I personally think its not incompatible with making money for yourself. People have very negative views of Capitalism (confusing it with crony capitalism) but personally I find many business people, some in my family don't actually focus on money but focus on achieving goals and achieving success rather than just money. I feel the same for crypto personally, Bitcoin for me is a way to financially secure myself away from the fiat corrupt system but I also ideologically believe in Bitcoin, I don't see the things as mutually incompatible.

I guess at this point you either trust in the project or you don't—they have delivered on all of their promises so far. It would not make sense to start an entirely new coin to make relative peanuts off an ICO, while at the same time devaluing Gemz and losing core investors. If they move forward with both GG Messenger and PayKey, or even if they only move forward with PayKey, it would make zero sense to start a new coin when this one already holds value and could only be worth more if integrated into PayKey.

Airdrop for ios is beta testing, should be available anytime by now.

The mood will change drastically around here if we find out that paykey is a different product and will use a new crypto with new ICO etc, so fuck waiting weeks or months for an announcement. I would be really surprised if it was though. Also airdrop isnt on ios yet

haha...i clearly rmb that there was a period of 1-2 months, many people here were impatient about the release of AirDrop...with some complaining that it got delayed. NOW ITS HERE...what you waiting for??? GO GET PEOPLE TO JOIN GETGEMS UNDER YOU! Don't start the next "i-cant-wait-for-the-next" whatever.

it was good, now its great because AirDrop is finally here, and lastly, its going to be AWESOME!
Go do your social thing and get busy getting GEMZ, etc. you want to start late? fine with us. we gonna GETGEMS then.

I agree as well that this deserves a new ANN thread. Great idea!

To anyone who is anxious for the blog to come out, I would ask that you please allow the devs flexibility to release this sensitive information whenever they need to. It seems obvious that they are delaying publication for some strategic reason that can't, and shouldn't, be revealed to everyone quite yet. So if the big reveal takes another week, or even a month, I say don't pressure them to do something that would put them at a strategic disadvantage against their competition who follow what they are doing closely. Our desire to be informed is secondary to the main goals of this project, which sometimes requires tight lips (As evidenced by none of us knowing about PayKey until they revealed it at the competition).

Also remember that they have worked very hard to create Gemz the currency, and it can work in both GG Messenger and PayKey in a similar manner (referral rewards, airdrop, etc.). I doubt they would put all this time into developing Gemz, and then drop it, especially when it was already promised to help develop their community. In addition, the point of the business game is to make as much money as possible, so why would they forsake the opportunity to do that with Gemz the currency when it's already developed?

I am so unbelievably impressed at everyone on the GetGems staff, from Daniel and Alon's presentation, to the programmers and the graphic designers. I can only laugh/cringe at the reaction of the judges. If it were only a keyboard app that could transfer money, AND they have a patent pending, that in and of itself would be revolutionary... but when you factor in Gemz, especially using a referral reward system and airdrop, then wow...

I second this idea.  This is going to be absolutely huge.  Super excited to see where this takes us
