What you guys need to do is learn to compile your own clients. Just remember you have an authorised executable from a scam coin live on your machine.

i saved the dat file and the qt. then reinstalled it that way. do you think that's safe? I am not saying or implying it's dodgy but common sense would say remove it

I had a look from a mobile and I see no indication of a rollback or fix, though on the mobile I may be missing something.
I see a worthless checkpoint, pos enabled and that's about it.
I can't see any reference to dishonour the transaction or any fix to avoid this happening in the future.

And I'm not sure why the pow end was bought forward as the code to execute the last pow block is missing and if it wasn't your chain will fork at block 4188
