That did it thanks! Wasn't sure if it would accept my conf neither the location so I had to ask.

Edit: In regards to Tales From the scrypt, the minimum payout fee is 1 GIAR and there is a 0.1 "TX FEE" so if you withdraw at 1 it's a 10% fee, which is a bit ridiculous.

Did you add nodes to the config file?

The windows download didn't come with a config file, and it isn't creating one in the source folder. All I have is giarcoin-qt.exe and qrc_bitcoin.cpp

I was having that issue in windows, even with the config file being present. So I compiled the wallet in linux and all is well.
