devs will buy lambos and go live on a coconut island with big boobed autochtones. And they thank u very much for that  Smiley

Never buy an IPO just on promises u mongs.

The IPO is on Bittrex because Bittrex is an escrow. If we do not deliver what we promise we don't get any of the IPO. We are doing this in a very professional way because we are working to make Harmony one of the top Cryptos. There is no risk associated with us taking your money and not delivering the coin because we have set this IPO up properly.

Price is too high for a clone that didn't prove anything. No proof whatsoever about anon etc just promises like every other coin that surf on anon hype and don't have skills to actually do it...Seriously even an ape could do a coin like that and put an absurd amount in ipo...Dear cryptoworld...

It's an IPO. The IPO will end in roughly 72 hours, and then POW phase will begin and last for 7 days.

We're clearly proving how serious we are about this, and our whole team is constantly working, doing whatever is needed. I personally have worked back-back 14 hour days on HarmonyCoin.

What if the IPO does not sell fully? Will you destroy the remaining coins?

Yes, Bittrex will put the coins into a wallet with a publicly known address and throw away the private key.

Thanks for stopping by Bill, and help officially answer questions that people had in regards to how the IPO will work.

We'd previously agreed to the terms of the escrow with the Harmony Dev team so it can only change if they agree.

Hi everyone,

The standard Bittrex caveats apply here:
Please know and understand what you are trading.  Research the people involved and the coin.  We have no involvement with the development of the coin.

Here's what we're doing:
1) During the IPO period, all BTC funds are locked.  The HMY team does not have access to it.

After the IPO, we will:
1) compile the wallet from public source
2) verify the network integrity through test transfers
3) destroy any unsold units from the pre-sale
4) hold the BTC funds for an additional 24 hours

If you have questions or concerns, feel free to DM me.
Bill

4) hold the BTC funds for an additional 24 hours , I think this is not enough, at least after the official MultiPool .

before there is a lot of  shit coins said : there will have Official MultiPool, but when them sold out primined coins, the coin is dead and there is no MP.

Just when you think Bittrex is an outstanding exchange, they pull this stunt.  I guess if $$ is involved, you just can't say no...   Embarrassed

I'm just catching up on this thread now and want inject a couple of thoughts.  Bittrex's main goal is to protect the traders/miners of the crypto community and to allow for a safe place for transactions to happen.  Two things can happen here... a) a dev team can offer an IPO in a BCT thread, where people can just run off with the money no questions asked, or b) we can list the ICO  (initial coin offer .. lets get away from the IPO term) and ensure that the proper assets change hands with delivery requirements.

Personally I would think you want option b here.  If you do research and believe its not trustworthy, do no invest.  We are here just as an escrow to protect you in the transaction.  The free market should decide what is and isn't successful.

For the record, we did not get paid, nor do we get any proceeds from ICOs we do (minus our tiny trade fee).

Thanks,
richie@bittrex

Frankly, it's very innovative! Hosting IPOs and putting them in escrow. Everybody wins! I would like to know if there's a refund policy on failed launch after IPO.

Yes.  The whole point of the escrow is to make sure the wallet and network is available after the ICO period.  we wont release the funds if the wallet fails to compile and people can't withdraw their coins.

We have the multipool built and can post it up within 24 hours of IPO end. It will not have much use until POW starts, but just to show you that it is ready.

whats funny about the ipo besides the ridiculous amount is that it says it's for developement and charity and all this nonsense than the guy says later that they are splitting it 6 ways for their hard work. just goes to show you push enough buttons and give people some rope and they hang themselves. game over. you all got scammed. unless you thought the ipo was to pay the team 130 btc or whatever it was? I doubt people would have thrown money at this if they knew that in the beginning but who knows this is BCT.

We're splitting the IPO among team members, so that one member does not hold complete control of coins. We are splitting it up to pay each other.
