You don't really need two computers. You can just rename the folder that holds the block chain to HotCoin_old and open the newer version of the wallet and get it's address and that will create a Hotcoin folder with a block chain and wallet.dat file. Then rename that Hotcoin folder to Hotcoin_new and rename the Hotcoin_old back to Hotcoin. Then open the old version of the wallet and send the coins. Then rename the HotCoin folder back to HotCoin_old and then rename the Hotcoin_new back to Hotcoin. Then when you open the newer version of the wallet the coins will be received. Once the coins are in the wallet you can delete the old wallet and the Hotcoin_old folder. That is a lot of steps to do so the easy way is using two computers and send from one computer to another.

Only update from 1.05 (or older) to new version need 2 wallets (computers)

If you have for example 1.08 then update to new version = simple replace new files from archive.

of course, first make a copy of wallet.dat (backup).

I also hope that the next update will not be needed for a month

First, back up your wallet file (wallet.dat).
Use the wallet previously backed up, delete appdata / hotcoin directory and then resynchronize.

Currently probably not - developer working on it.

Until recently active was HTCpool.in

But difficulty is very low and possible is mining solo (directly by wallet or minerd etc.)

1. Sync your PC clock according to ie. http://time.is (very important step)
2. Run wallet.
3. If you want dig directly by wallet:
   - you can click icon mining in top window
   - or click Debug window -> console
   and write setgenerate true and hit enter

   To disable mining write setgenerate false and hit enter

4. If you want dig by external program you must setup wallet as server
   in your hotcoin.conf (server=1, and rpc* settings)


PS. Hotcoin algorithm is different to others coins. Only one block (in all network) is accepted per 2 minutes.
CPU has a bonus on the GPU. a lot also depends on the element of luck

Yes, Less than version 1.06 up to version 1.10 Upgrade steps:

1, open two computers, one running old version, one run version 1.10
2, send old version’s coin to the version 1.10 wallet address.

That worked and the coins are in the new v1.10 wallet. New wallet looks good.

I wonder why people are selling HOT almost free Sad

A little patience, we operate, all is ok and hopefully Hotcoin will grow.

I admit I sold 10 HOT. just to test the Swisscex (my first trade there Smiley

but I did it at the rate of 1 HOT = 53.99999999 DOGE

so 1 Hot ~= 54 DOGE * 160 (satoshi per 1 doge on this time)

1 Hot = 0.00008640 BTC quite fair exchange but not so good I want.

now people selling low for 780 satoshi or
even for "free" = 11 ;/

When (more smart people Smiley sell 1 hot for 12 Doge
1 hot = 12 * 240 = 2880
is still very low but not for 11 Smiley

Please ask yourself if it is worth so cheap to sell.
Is it better to hold. Will you do whatever you want this just a suggestion Smiley

I have patience and still believe in Hotcoin.
