Easy, the developer probably still use some coins such as the faucet or for other awards / competitions.
Remember that the developer is from China so maybe he has 12 thousand friends;)
If hi leave yourself 500-900 K HTC IMHO it will be OK.
Unless quickly pushes it to the market.
The coin is very young and should (IMHO) past few weeks before it will listing in exchange service.
