Thanks for the encouragement. The development is actually further along than we expected at this point. The most difficult thing about this project is getting IPFS integrated properly to work with the masternode system. Hi CaVO32,

We currently have the blockchain portion of the application already completed with IPFS integration complete. The system is usable today, however currently it would require a very technical person to create a new record. Currently we are working on the web interface to allow for a much more user friendly experience for the submission, voting, and display of records. This is were our focus is on at this point. As far as value goes, there are quite a few use cases for immutable record storage outside of the significant cultural historical records. In the future we hope to expand our use case.
