Need your advice about a problem on huntercoin :
I created two teams, name are always in black. I tried to change the colour, relaunch wallet , nothing works.
In same time, I sent HUC to poloniex.
Then I deleted the two teams's transactions, I relaunched wallet.
And now, the transaction on poloniex appears in grey, as unavailable transaction, the adress on poloniex is not writed anymore.
Thanks to help to save the coins.
I have exactly the same problems, neither new teams were created nor 1 HUC test send to Poloniex ever confirmed.
51% attack?the only people that can do a 51% attack is f2pool, who have the most coins - so that would be extremely unlikely
otherwise their own coins (they have the most, 40k+) would become worthless - (well others can too.. but they are the main ones mining ,and you can see in explorer)
for someone else to ~51% attack, they need ~51% attack both sha and scrypt - diffiuclt
well.. it's possible to add insane amount of sha256, then do selfish mining(?), and try to prevent scrypt getting in..
anyway.. do not worry about 51% attack
Ok; he's a strange one...
I made a new team - called CN-Bubble.
It didnt create after a while so I deleted the transaction, reloaded (after adding the new node) and restarted with -rescan.
Team gone transaction gone etc.
I clicked make team again and named it the same thing CN-Bubble. Same caps etc...
Made the team, transaction below. Team did not get made on MY wallet, not sure whats going on there...

I work all day, but come home for lunch and after I get my kids to bed in the evening I play games. Usually play Skyrim, or my Guitar, but then I found mining, and THEN I FOUND HUNTERCOIN! (hehe).
Any ideas on maybe checking ports?
I've told firewall (windows built in) to allow for ports to be open etc.
You said before you are using a VM on windows, and someone else said about using a Ram Drive instead (which I understand is risky), maybe you are having less problems because you run on a VM and its smoother or something?
If so, I'm happy to give that a go (will look into it tonight maybe). My computer is not under resourced with 16 BG of fast 1600 MHz Ram, over a 1TB HDD (and 3 more 1TB backup drives) my 6 core processor. My GPU is a little underpowered which is why I don't mine on it (Radeon R7 250 2GB), but its certainly not a bad card for what this rig normally does (Play Games).
Let me know your thoughts on possible Ports to ensure are open (if you think this could be related) and also about running on a VM or a Ram Drive instead?

i'm running both in VM and W7.. no problems except during forks at start..
we know there is problems and i'm not denying it.. we are working "off this thread" with people.. don't worry, be patient

Huntercoin is experimental software. Although we have tested as much as we can, there may be bugs or flaws in some of the code or mechanics. Scalability will be tested.
In all, this project should be at least a learning experience.
