Yes, it could be very intresting project. It is very excitingto see the greatest places in the world. But I don't know how succefully they can create the market of digital land, and would it be popular?
The idea to create Global AR Grid came to the team in 2014 when PiligrimXXI opened first in the world AR park on openair. To implement this idea we started development of our own platform, computer vision system in 2015 thinking that in 2020 AR will come to the mass market.
In 2016 when appeared pokemon Go we understood that the community is more than ready for AR and they love it.
In 2017 all the big players launched their own platforms, that they bought in 2015 like Apple did (bought Metaio in 2014-2015). Hardware is moving also. This is a very good sign. Applying Blockchain we understand that everything can happen already in 2019 and we will be ready for that.
According to the roadmap (you can see it on our website) we will launch the market place during the Q1 2018. Step by step we will digitalize the centers of the 10 biggest cities in which we will sell the digital land first, and in 2019 will be launched the platform. First cities scheduled to get covered with the layer of augmented reality are Barcelona, London, Mexico, New York, Paris, Peking, Rome, saint-Petersburg, Istanbul and Tokyo.
