Yes i think the possibility of partnershipis huge, like for identity control as many said. Datum has the potential to make great partnership, a lot of potential application and opportunity for potential partner !

Partnering with larger more popular services is the easiest way to get your name out there.

is there any permission structure for only allow to share with specific users? how is protected to prevent scammer not getting data as middle man?

One partnership with civic could be great to verify people identities.
Civic would be a great addition to Datum platform. This kind of partnership would be a great incentive for investors Wink

Would you sell your data even under the assumption it is already out there?
data can be sold completely anonymously or with various levels of context and identity attached

sounds interesting, but before join in, I will wait for the more details .hopefully it can run well and good luck for Datum

Explained in our whitepaper, page 8.

https://datum.org/assets/Datum-WhitePaper.pdf

Quote:
Each piece of data in the Datum network is marked with usage terms during the encryption. This way the user (the source of the data) can control in what way their data is to be shared and used by others. The usage terms are controlled by the DAT token smart contract.
Users have full control over whom to share data with and can fine tune their privacy settings:

1. Share disabled
2. Share with specific, identified and known data consumers
3. Share with specific, identified and known data consumers for a minimum fee
4. Share with everyone
5. Share with everyone for a minimum fee

Too much presale discounts will be bad for main sale investors.

Look at the other projects. In many of them it worked like that, and it worked good!!

What are you talking about? In which cases presale discounts have worked good for main sale investors?

I know of none, honestly. Doesn't matter really, hodl the coins you have and buy the dips when they come, no doubt in my mind datum will drop at least 40% after the listing but that'll be a great place to buy, I can easily see this coin reach 1$ in 1 year

Only 5 days more to DATUM ICO.

That link will direct you to a different project, not to Datum. You perfectly hide moiraj in the link and make it look like Datum.
Damn scammers get smarter day by day

This is the real link to Datum on FOXICO https://foxico.io/project/datum

Thanks for sharing the original Smiley

why do you think so? it might attract other investors imo

Well, he got a point. When there is a huge bonus, the ones who invested in the pre-sale tend to dump their tokens when they can get some profit which drives the price down below the ICO price. So if you look at the price as an investor of the main ICO you will ask yourself, why you paid the ICO price and not bought off an exchange.

In simple terms it averages the price of the tokens down.

Any higher price comes from speculation on future value or a deflationary mechanism in the token.

I've got many friends who are waiting for the initial dump after listing because they know I bought with a 50% bonus, and I can't blame them. Then again, I'll be accumulating as well at those low prices
50% bonus is too much. I think a good project like Datum doesn't need that high bonus. I hope the price will not drop too much.

Datum now listed on Sangus ICO Info at 84%: https://sangus.org/ico/810

I think you are the owner of that site. I really don't like this kind of ico listing.

Just made an article with your honest thoughts and tell us why it is %84. If you can make it good, believe me, your rating website will skyrocket.

I like ICObench better, they explain how they rate on their page https://icobench.com/ratings.
Datum has a 4.0 on this site. Its lower than my expectation

I have heard from a ICO dev (not datum), that ICO rating sites email new ICO's to get a fee if they rate the ICO high. If you dont pay your score will be lower

Hey all, appreciate your input. The goal of Sangus is to consolidate all ICO info and ratings into one page, to make it easier for you to get the full picture. Our metascore isn't a rating so much as a holistic representation of public information directly from the ICO team and rating sites (I promise, a blog post explaining it in depth is coming soon!). We've also heard that some rating sites require ICOs to pay for a full (or boosted) review, and we're working on a good way to represent that on our site as well. However, a Sangus listing is 100% free. The only contact we've had with ICO teams is to make sure their information is as complete and accurate as possible. Hope that helps but let us know if you have any other feedback!

it's really silly to dump post ICO, even if you dump the bounty. why not wait a few months and then do it?

okay thank you i got the point now! it seems legit. well i hope this does not happen to datum - it would be a pitty if a "mistake" like that would ruin the whole project
If the project is really valuable, then no speculation with prices will not be able to destroy it, but the price of the token may fall sharply at the very beginning, but getting rid of "weak hands" is even good for the project, in the future the price will only grow.

Datum and Ethereum

Quote
Ethereum has rocketed in popularity due to its additional features and applications — with “the killer app” being blockchain-based smart contracts. And that’s where Datum comes in, Datum technology allows you to use these blockchain-based smart contracts to store your structured data in a secure, private and anonymous manner.

DATUM has potential for the sucess,
and nice to see DATUM with smart contracts Smiley
