I think someone answered this question on the thread. The mob app mining is a simulator, somewhat like a faucet. then people who have never mined can have an experience on mining and move to PC mining. Then yes, it is sort of a simulation in which you can make real coins

At least that is what I understand from the comments and the whitepaper. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong
