That's not true, it can be pulled off, just like Bytecoin is able to be mined by something as weak as a $100 android tablet. It just won't be very profitable, but it can probably be done in the background while you use your phone for other things I'd imagine.

I think this is a red flag for me too because it isn't addressed, I also noticed about 20 typos in the first picture describing the project, mostly just needing the insertion of a space between words. This is a Bytecoin base cryptonote coin as I understand it and I'm not sure what can be done to prevent other people from using GPUs to mine it. I think it's possible the Electroneum project isn't saying you'll get rich from mining it on your cell phone, but rather that it is possible if you would like to, for small profits and to help the decentralization of the coin. They have a nice idea here though and utilizing many unconventional mining hardware they can achieve a potentially higher level of decentralization and although I missed the ICO I'll be paying attention to see how this develops. Looks a good project though imo.

I have a question. So you can mine with your cell phone? If so, will this drain the battery as you are taking up a lot of resources in order to use all of your phone's CPU to generate a hash? It seems like a great concept but I couldn't mine portable. I would need to plug my phone in so that I would not drain the battery.
