ICO is also banned in South Korea at the legislative level. At the same time on March 8, 2018 in The Korea Times there was a message that the authorities are planning to legalize the ICO, explaining this by the need to promote technology based on the Blockchain.

In September 2017, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) published a guide on legal responsibilities for companies that organize the ICO.

Regulation is a complex process where it is necessary to find a balance between protecting the interests of participants in the cryptocurrency market and improper control and appropriation of private funds. Hope that this balance will be achieved, and the market of cryptocurrency will become safer.
