I am interested too. I was wondering also about the property location. Some of the team is from Durban South Africa and they are talking about properties in the UK. Not sure what to believe here. Hope it is not a scam because I would like to invest in it. Sounds like a good idea.

If the team is all over the globe, my question is

1. Where will be the operational base of the team i.e which country or locality will the pilot study takes place because I don't expect it to start from all over the world at the same time but with time, it can get to that point.

2. How are you planning to navigate through the legal hurdles of owning property because the laws guiding in several countries and localities differs from one place to another.

The investment is based on an aggressive gearing model.
What is the essence of gearing? – Using the bank's money (or financing) to increase the size of an investment in order to increase the returns on your investment outlay.
Basic example
You invest 5,1 Ether (X)
We borrow 45,88 Ether (Y)
Total property Investment = 50,98 Ether (Z)
Over time the value of the property increases to 104,38 Ether (T) and the Bank loan is reduced to 10,62 Ether (P) (Due to rental payments)
Over Time expenses = 8,86 Ether (K)
Refer to page 24: SCENARIO 2 – 90% GEARING
Value of coin= [(T)-(P)-(X)-(K)]
Original coin Value appreciation forecast = [(T-P)-K-X]/X *100%= 1566%
[(104,38-10,62)-8,86-5,1]/5,1 *100%= 1566%
Its on page 31 of the white paper and the graph explains it well.

So token value is based on future value of the company.

So basically investment buys a downpayment on a property and title would be assigned to a lending bank? How you will get a loan from bank - you would need to guarantee payments based on company income or cash in the bank to cover that mortgage?

The income of rental is used to pay the bank interest and capital repayments. The model is unique and this relationship with the bank is something that has taken decades to grow. We have the experience and the relationships to be able to establish a high yielding property investment through high gearing as per the spreadsheets in the whitepaper

Blockchains generally are only about the "deltas" and not the entire blockchain, otherwise it would be impractical right from the get go. Every block only includes the differences. The problem is that these differences get thrown into a database that itself is growing far too large, so you can get by an example the new direction Vitalik from ethereum brings up is to split this out so you almost have subnetworks that are subordinates of the master. Of course, it is still early so we need to get more details. Now my main question is if Propthereum will have a secure database for the assets, and what kind of assets you are willing to manage?

The blockchain technology is going to be used to simplify and allow for investors to participate where they might not be able to otherwise. For example, general crowd funding requires investors to be verified and foreign currency exchange can be tricky to get around when it comes to sending money and investing in companies overseas. We are using Blockchain technology to give investors the opportunity to invest in something with the potential for astronomical gains which otherwise wouldn’t be possible without blockchain technology. Once the crowdsale is completed the Property assets will be purchased through fiat currency. With this being said, Propthereum is able to purchase property with promising returns and create value for PTC token holders to increase their gains on a CryptoCurrency exchange

Projects that are being backed by properties/assets is good. It can attract more investors because we know that in time, properties are always appreciating in terms of value. Loss is minimal to zero here so this project is good and well thought of. Best of luck to the team and hope you raise the funds within your timeframe. Will keep an eye for this ico.
