As I understand at the moment is collected 6405931/450=14235 ETH, this good amount or I'm wrong?

Its more than 4 million usd by current ETH price. Its good results I think...
Their hard cap 36 millions.. But I cant find soft cap? Which soft cap?

I'm reading their whitepaper but I don't see there softcap and this one should be discuss by the dev since many people want to know more about it.

I have participated many icos and watched more of it. In my opinion, there is not an ico would cancel after 4m $ funds. Even icos says their soft cap is higher at the end, if they got some million dollars, they just reduce it.

So I am not worried about the soft cap. And I am almost sure that some soma representative will tell that we already hit the soft cap which was x million USD. Smiley

In the whitepaper I have read that for every 1,500 ETH they expand to a new region. I suppose that 1,500 ETH is the soft cap. With $4 million they have already enough for almost 9 regions.

I'd like to come back to that point. Can anyone explain to me what exactly is meant with that? Is a region the same as a country or is it more like North America, SEA, CIS etc.?

Indeed, already 14k ETH has been collected.
Thats a huge amount of ETH and means a lot of investors already have trust in this project.

This is a great project!
Cant wait for the crowdsale!

120k ETH is hard cap and it raised more than 14k ETH till now. The token sale will be going on for another 23 days.

I think they made a good decision to make such a long ICO because right now its really hard to reach the hard cap but when the crypto economy fix itselfe a little, the can count on fresh investors.
I think they need to do some big moves in the marketing sector along this ICO if they want to reach that hard cap, it still far away.

Will the dev's continue with the project if the soft cap is not reached? 14k ETH seems to me like a lot of money, and more than enough to start with.

Agree, 14k ETH is quite a lot. According to their wp they want to use each 1.5k ETH for the expansion to a new region/country, so with their currently 14k they can already launch their platform in a couple of regions. And ICO isn't over yet. Btw, I don't know what their soft cap is resp. if they have one Smiley

I think that many people don't know this ICO, maybe devs should put more emphasis on marketing.

If they do have soft cap then most likely they would really force to reach out that range so that the project would be successful and if it doesn't able to then most probably funds would be refunded to its investors.

wow realy cool, independent experts from the rating platform ICObench assigned SOMA great rating: 4.9 / 5
https://icobench.com/ico/soma

That's good for the project. I'm still trying to understand everything from my side  Grin

Yet to see an ICO ranked low by that site. So in other words, their opinion don't mean shit

Yeah, to be honest i don't trust those rating sites. I like some youtubers who review ICO's, like Ian Balina. And i like to do my own research. I'm still working my way through the SOMA whitepaper, but so far no red flags  Cheesy

Still you have to do a lot of your own research!
Your example of Hydrominer has a very low score but a project that I think is unique! There preICO was sold out in no time.

It is a pity there are mostly only numeric ratings on that website and no reviews or comments.

There could be many explanations for a low rating. Maybe investors had regrets after the pre-ICO because of a lack of communication afterwards. Or  investors in a competing project gave intentionally fake low ratings. Could also be that the idea seems good but the team behind the project did something strange.

What will happen to unsold tokens after the ICO? Will they be burned or used for building a community or promotion the project?

Dont just believe the rating, i even only go there if iam too lazy to read the project's whitepaper.

of course, you should always do your own research before "donating" into an ICO. better be safe than sorry.

So the ICC card shows the complete trading history of an item. Let's say you are selling a DSLR or lenses, a laptop or what ever, you can for example difference everything through their serial number, to check if the ICC is the one belonging to the item. But what about items which have no serial number?

I am not well versed in the second-hand trading. Is it usual for items to change hands so often that they can benefit from having a ... diary?

Well I bought myself some second hand lenses so far, which would be much more expensive if you buy them new. For this for example it is often written/said how many people have owned them so far, when it was bought, maybe if there was a repair needed etc. I think at this point Soma could help here because you could see if the written/said is true or not. Maybe someone wants to lie because the lens wasn't bought new from him but two persons before or something.

But I am wondering how you want to manage this with items you can't track through a serial number or something like that.

The card will only work if said item is being sold and bought constantly in the platform, if it was brought before, for example, 3 times before entering the soma platform, and the one selling it doesn't know how many times it was bought, it will appear that it was just recently used,  the seller could lie too and start with a fresh second hand item, so to me at least is a little confusing the concept of the card, it can get you a security about the product, but only when it first got the platform.

So often such products do not sell. Many things just can not stand the change of even two owners. It's not antiques. I think that there are three owners, maximum.

Oh, i guess i should state that it's not a negative attribute on soma, just saying that the ICObench crew opinion shouldn't be considered when researching for an investment project

you should always do your own research before investing in anything , ICO's included. it's your money, don't waste it.
Yes they rate nearly every ICO above 4.5 which should be a very good rating only few should be able to achieve.

Agreed, but it can still be a good source of information when doing YOUR OWN research. I've used it when just perusing through new ICO's to get the quick overview about the project.
