Yes, your correct that it how it works you choose the gift card you want, pay with your Zix and then redeem for the product or service you wanted.
So you could use your Zix to buy a $50 Starbucks gift card to use every day at your favorite Starbucks until it ran out and then you'd buy a new one.
could you refill it to an exact amount? Like not be limited to $50 but if you need only $29,75?
The cards are fixed denominations so they would be $10, $20 and so on
What if the price of a product is let say $96, 97, or 98 ... do we buy it with a coupon of $ 100 and there remains a difference or is it lost to the merchant?
If you have a $100 gift card and make a purchase of $96, the remaining balance on your gift card will be $4. This will be the balance on the gift card until you use it to make another purchase.

Is there a chance the roadmap will change if they reach the hardcap?
I don't think it would. I think they have everything pre calculated so they can stick to the initial plan.
Of course it will stick on the plan and even zeex don't reach the hard cap won't affect anything as they have already a strong platform that every ico will envy. And with it, the fund raised will just use to innovate the project and not for starting the product as it already have one plus Zeek as a sister company, it could be more bigger than what we expected.

Zeex will provide financial services to suppliers such as fiat-to-crypto exchange, crypto hedging, fiat loans and consumer marketing services. Our goal is to expand the brands we already work with and continuously add more! Our protocol will allow any brand or gift card provider (like Zeek) to seemlessly sell thir products for crypto. We believe this will incentivize them to use the Zeex protocol thus expanding the list of brands available on our platform. The soft cap will allow us to start only in Europe, mainly in terms of capital. The hard cap will allow us to start globally!!!
Gotta love those partnerships mentioned but what is the guarantee of Zeex to be accepted at Amazon, Foot Locker, Ticketmaster, GAP Clark and XBox? If this is legit then pretty sure there are conditions like minimum volume in the trading market daily? Because once Zeex volume will become low there is the high possibility of a pump and dump scenario which I am sure those big companies won't like.
