Thanks for asking this great question as Merchant are the most important part of Agate stakeholders (in business side).
there are several reasons which merchants love Agate include but not limited to:

1- There is no complication for them to accept crypto currency, they don't need to know anything about blockchain, wallet, exchange ,... they simply using either App or physical POS terminal and can request to transfer in their bank account or Debit card seamlessly

2- the biggest problem for  merchant is volatility, if they see something and accept any crypto and tomorrow , next week or next month they wanna pay for rent, staff, bills, supplier ,.... there is no guarantee after exchange it fiat they get the same value whereas in Agate they exactly get what they sold and regardless of crypto price the value always stay the same.
 
3- unlike other app or coins they don't need to waiting from 10min to few hours to receive the fund as in Agate payments are instant . (1-3 Sec)

4- right now in different countries when merchant accepting fund they should pay between %1 to %8 to payment processor where in Agate is $0 (because user pay for transaction fee $0.00076)

5- integration for online websites is easy in 3min and over 80% of all ecommrece platform (Woocommerce, Magento, ,...) can accept via Agate by installing our free app/plugins (please refer to Github)

We developed both User and Merchant Apps for both Android and IOS platform however as you might know due to new Apple policy they won't any blockchain project/ICO app to be release on App store hence our strategy is to keep developing IOS as well and once we switch to main-net and got all approval speak with Apple to officially release our APP.

Transaction fee is always 0.01 AGT which currently is almost free ( $0.00076), in fact one the most interesting things in Agate project is very cheap transaction fee which let anyone to pay for items as cheap as $0.5 and still make sense. also as we mentioned in WP by increasing value of Agate up to 10X or even (hopefully) 100X more than today price still is very very cheap (i.e: if Agate price increase by 10X and become $0.76 then the transaction cost would be $0.0076 and if it increase by 100X the transaction cost would be $0.076 which still is nothing) hope I answer your question

Agate is a great project with a lot of work already done behind them and app already in beta, though from what I was able to see it is Android.Do you have any iOS app already?

What will be incentives for the merchants to start using AGATE? Do you already have interested parties?

What is the minimum to invest in the project?

What will be transaction fees, when all this conversions kick in? Fee will be in AGT right?

the team of this project is very experienced I think, because there are some advisors from famous technology companies, such as dell, google ... this concept is interesting mix between paypal and cryptocurency ..

Regarding bridging the gap between fiat and crypto I agree with you on that 100%, this is becoming the most important thing to ensure the prosperity in crpyto and bringing it closer to mainstream.
