What reasons do you have for keeping the founding team anonymous?
Being anonymous is very important, a quote from our website,
It’s been almost ten years since the first widely accepted cryptocurrency, bitcoin, appeared while the identity of the creator Satoshi Nakamoto remains unknown. Despite the true intention of hiding its identity being complicated, we believe it’s a great move towards achieving decentralization. As the inventor of any kind, it is too easy to be put on the altar by the crowd with overrated authority. Sometimes it can be good, sometimes it leads to disasters. While all the team members here are heavily influenced by the Anonymous, we also believe things like making decisions on what new cryptographic hashing standard is secure shouldn’t be left to general public. Pluralism or elitism? Which one is better? We genuinely do not have a dog in that fight. The universe itself should be kept balanced, and it will, not bending to anyone’s will since it’s basic physics.
Enough being said, the team Evil Morty Foundation has chosen to stay anonymous, because we don’t want to be the ultimate power in this Microverse, with people looking up to us and always expecting something. No one in the team is able to live up with that burden in the rest of their lives. On the other hand, life is an experiment, everything is an experiment, and so does this Microverse. Anarchism may once finally find its place to fully test itself out.
