I saw the project on Twitter four weeks ago. Back then, I emailed Tokrex with some questions about CDG technology. I got an answer to my questions about cryptography and technology directly from Tom. His answer was very profound. For the fast response time and the opportunity to speak directly with the developers, you get 5 stars.

I am also interested in the opinion of Tom about side-chains. But I can already imagine that CDGs are faster because they do not need on-chain transactions. I studied the technical white paper and have more questions:

Tokrex currently describes a DEX solution based on CDG technology. Are there any plans to develop a platform from this as well? I mean, for example, smart contracts in connection with the Tokrex DKG. That would be Web 4.0 in my opinion. What do you think?

By the way, a nice infographic about CDGs. The illustration helps that many people can understand it. The Tokrex CDGs are indeed a revolution in blockchain technology. Transferring e.g. a bitcoin in less than a second will amaze the community. I am really excited about projects like Tokrex improving the core technology of blockchains!! Looking forward to your answer.

A frequent question: Where can I find the referral link for Tokrex AirDrop?

Quick help:

1) Sign in at https://tokrex.org

2) Click on your profile picture (right upper screen). A menu appears.

3) Click "Referral Link". Then the page shows your referral link. For each sign up we credit you 50 TOX additionally.

Thanks to @lisho @wong for your question

Do I need to whitelist (KYC) for the AirDrop?

Hi BTV2019!

No, so far you don't need KYC to participate in the AirDrop.

However, a KYC can be done online in order to trade TOX against other cryptos as soon as the market is opening. The KYC frontend can be found in your account settings -> Onboarding / KYC

Thanks for the quick response. Already in the community! I hope my TOX will be useful to me

Hi BTC2019,

TOX are useful for many things. Here are some information from the whitepaper. The team will create a video on this topic. I keep you updated. With TOX you can operate Nodes (Escrow Nodes, Validations Nodes and Market Nodes) and thereby earn new TOXs.

What are TOXs used for?

Trading fees
Payments of trading fees, which the users themselves determine in competition. On Tokrex there are generally no trading fees, except users set a trading fee for their trades themselves. The scale of trading fees is left to the ecosystem and the users themselves.

License to operate escrow, validation and market nodes
Holders of the currency TOX can operate Escrow, Validation and Market Nodes and thereby earn new TOX.

Operating Escorw Nodes and Validation Nodes
Escrow and validation nodes are part of the high-frequency Tokrex trading platform. The operators of escrow and validation nodes will receive compensation for their services in TOX.

Operating Market Nodes
Market nodes are part of the decentralized order book matching (FloorNet). The operators of Market Nodes are paid in TOX.

Fiat Clearing (CSP)
Fiat transactions executed by Clearing Service Providers (CSPs) become transparent through a Blockchain (Clearing Blockchain). Fees on CSPs are paid in TOX.

Voting rights
Each TOX corresponds to one vote. On Tokrex, each user can create their own markets and offer tokens or coins. Tokrex members can rate tokens or coins. The more TOX a member has, the greater the impact on the rating. In addition, the Tokrex community agrees on many things, such as the user interface design, the development and so on. For this purpose, voting rights can be used.

Very interesting project.  I saw the technical paper with all the math.. I am not a cryptographer but this seems to be a really revolutionary technology. What is different to Atomic Cross Chain Swaps? I was reading this is the big hope of the DEX community.

Hi 5miley5,

as said here is detailed information about CDG Technology. From the 34th minute in this video, Tom explains the difference between a CDG and Atomic cross-chain swaps.

Video:

Best!

You have clever people in your team. I looked at the part about HTLC and understood why CDG allows real-time transactions. As far as I know, side-chains are also on-chain based. What is Tom's opinion about SideChains?

btw Tokrex is an outstanding project !! I hope you guys will be very successful with your project.

@5miley5 thanks a lot for your feedback! I forwarded your message to Tom.

Hi 5miley5,

I forwarded your question to a developer. You will immediately receive a detailed answer. In general, the difference is that Atomic Cross-Linked Swaps (HTLC) are based on on-chain transactions, thus trading cannot be done in real time (because of the block latency). CDGs do not use on-chain transactions and bypass the block latency, which makes real-time trading possible. The core concept of CDGs is distributed key generation.

More than interesting. Especially against the background of problems with centralized exchanges and market manipulations. Look further.
