started the wallet and mined right away, now nothing's happening?

type setgenerate true -1 and it starts mining.
hah, that seemed to do the trick. i seem to have 1 unconfirmed block? "0 of 6 confirmations" ??
when i first started the wallet the blocks were flying left and right like crazy, can i hope to get them confirmed if i'm lucky or are they lost?
Its orphaned blocks, it should be a "clock" in the transaction if its not orphaned.

I feel you pain - Ive been mining for past few hours and only get immature/orphan - lots of them.

You need to add more peer to get your mining good going. I manage get few confirm blocks.

I wanted to mine FateCoin, but it got virus & also compilation issue for linux build.
Thus i am stuck with InkCoin.
At least for now this coin give me a few blocks

For window user
go to your
C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Inkcoin
replace Administrator with your window user
create this file call inkcoin.conf inside the folder
and put this value
server=1
gen=0
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=rpcuser
rpcpassword=passwd
addnode=146.185.173.146
addnode=23.99.1.98
addnode=175.42.31.229
change gen=1 if you want mine at your com.
After that should be ok, I did this and my wallet start to sync ( you need restart your qt client )
