the inital node ip given by the OP looked to be from Russia (http://ip-address-lookup-v4.com/ip/146.185.173.146), Europe was in a better position than US here.
BAsically took a node close to that IP anc checked the latency (simple ping or traceroute). Your internetconenction from the node really matter (and not the bandwith).

But the most important consist in leveling upo your maxconnections from the config file and add all nodes taht you can grap in the forum and more than 30 Ips were posted here in this thread.

not yet, http://bgp.he.net/ip/146.185.173.146#_whois

the IP on Amsterdam, NL

probably digitalocean and tha'ts why the DigitalOcean Droplet gave a very nice latency Smiley

Hey Im new to the entire mining & crypto community, only dabbling in some CPU mineable (is that a word?) coins with my home/work PCs that all have an i5.

Anyways to my question, I got to mining INK just a little bit ago after it synched and I keep seeing IMMATURE 50.00 INK pop up on my wallet overview screen, what does that mean?  My confirmed/unconfirmed is still 0.00.  Again, Im doing this as a learning lesson for bigger and better things (hopefully)

Thanks!!  Grin

10k satoshi  Grin Cool

Anyone selling this coin at 2 Satoshi, I will take it.

O RLY mate? Smiley)
There's only 11 million of them + new algo, there's gotta be some value to that.
If people like this coin and the dev doesn't do anything scammy or stupid, I see i going towards 10k satoshi

EDIT: Also, keeping the early dumps to a minimum would help. Smiley

A lot of people whining here

I started about 20 minutes after the launch with my modest i5 4 cores and a got thousands of INK. You, guys simply didn't figured  out how to reduce the chances of getting orphans, being on a low latency node or adding all the nodes possible.

If you are out of the game, what you need is assistance/guidance, whining is useless.

+1

Also, some of your advice on how to reduce the chances of getting orphans and being on a low latency node would be appreciated

This coin has hard fork already. Are you sure you're on right blockchain?
