Anyone following their official discord or so? What are the latest news from developers on the topic?
Recently in the thread here there is nothing new, except for some semi-relevant discussions Smiley

CAUTION!!!!!
Did founders snatch premine?
Founders have never proved they use 2.10 M Koto for bounties.

What are you trying to say us? You suspect developers of deception, you think that this project is a scam ?

I don't feel it's a big issue.

Premine: 1.849% 1.849 % (2)

(2) for Bounty, Faucet

Now

Usage of premines

All the premined balances at this moment belong to the personal assets of the founder, koto.cash, so that the uses of the balances such as funds for faucets, exchange, developing expenses, and so on in the future are decided by own decision of koto.cash. As announced, around 2.10 M Koto of all the premined 3.92 M Koto was used for bounties to the developers by 2018-02-05.

Note that the description, "As announced, around 2.10 M Koto of all the premined 3.92 M Koto was used for bounties to the developers by 2018-02-05", is not true strictly.

We knew that founders threw Koto on the original Japanese forum.

Consensus is Constitution
In order for us to clone Koto to make our own altcoins based on yescrypt, we need a genesis block generator.  I started a bounty at .1 btc as a reward for someone who would make this public.  Join in on the thread and offer your contribution as well!

how do I create an offline wallet?, I wasn't able to do this, so I'm using the online one but it will be decomised if it's time to migrate

Detailed instructions how to create a wallet on the first page of the topic.
Everything is described extremely precisely, I myself created a wallet by this instruction.

Let me explain on how to launch it. I'll be talking about the Windows version.

You will need Java 7 and up to launch the wallet.

First, download the wallet from: https://github.com/koto-dev/koto/releases (Windows and Mac version can be found here.)

http://prntscr.com/hw8dxv

Second, run the .bat file located inside the folder.

http://prntscr.com/hw8egn

Wait for the download to finish then proceed to the next step.

Third, execute the WalletUI.jar .

http://prntscr.com/hw8fdy

The wallet should look like this:

https://prnt.sc/hw8gkc

And that's it!

Yep, I set up my wallet according to your guide

I just visited a web wallet. All the coins are in place.

Good news!!

----------
But I have a bad news.
Founders retracted their words.

Premine is 1.849%, 3,920,000 koto, which worth 39,200 block.
The 920,000 koto was used for bounty.
The rest of premine (3,000,000 koto, 30,000 block) is theirs.

They increased their share.

How will the test of the funds be used? Is it for development or for the founders themselves?

We can not test it.
Fonder said "The rest of premine (3,000,000 koto, 30,000 block) is mine. There's no problem if I sell it for myself."

It good that you can try to test it, so that we can easily identify both sides, I think with that its really a great help not just you but for everyone also.

Not your keys, not your coins!
In fact, my friend joined the logo contest. Some days after sent his logo to devs. Kodak updated its status on Facebook with new logo almost as same as my friend's logo. It's weird. What is that? Coincidence?
