I personally think that what happened to you is pretty much how money would be made over there, if any profit at all. But these small bidding's would only take ages, someone has to lose big for another one to gain big.
If more people use the site, then statistically you will profit. If nobody does and 1 whale comes in and wins big, then you will lose. I had like 6 million in there at one point and 2m was from investing. Then that person won huge and i divested. I wasn't invested when he showed up the next day and lost half my invested
If I would have stuck with it then I probably would have gained most back and then some. that happened to me too. i divested and got back in half way thur his amazing session. he won 100 million, lost 140 million
