Good catch, I hadn't realised their estimation of 30b was PoW+PoS. Still a long period of time left to mine though.

Actually 30 billion is little bit misleading,
when you check the money supply, its currently at 2.5 bil. 35% has been mined, so that makes total POW coins at around 7 billion.
which coincides with 10% reduction calculation.

the total supply of 30 billion coins are calculated by adding POS interest inflation. and it will take something like 15-20 years of POS interest to produce 23 bil in POS staking.

So in reality, total supply is much much lower in short term (next 2-5yrs) more like 10 bil coins

This has probably been discussed somewhere on the forums, but I can't seem to get staking to work.

I've encrypted and unlocked my wallet for several days now, but have yet to make any stake at present I have 160K coins, so I should be making about 160 new coins a day, but I've yet to see any of these.

Is there a step by step guide somewhere, or would someone be kind enough to walk me through the process in detail?

• The button says "Lock wallet" because you should have already clicked it when it said "Unlock wallet" if you put a password on your wallet.
• The tiny padlock icon is open
• There is a green tick to show that your wallet is full synchronized with the network
• Going to Help -> About Jackpotcoin shows version v1.2.0.0

The first 3 points are REQUIRED but not the last, however it's always a good idea to be on the most recent wallet.
