Better price is not the target. It is a consequence of trading volume and beating sell walls, which is happening slowly. I wish to thank everyone selling now for less than 50. This coins will be taken on cold storage of the market.

Notice this idiot has been trying to stymie the rise of Karm all day - constant lowball sells up to 10 Litoshi lower than the next lowest sell order and often straight someone buys. Be aware that someone is trying to keep the coin off the radar for as long as they can to try and suck up as many coins as they can before we go to the moon.
I think you are reading too much into it. not everyone has the time to wait around for their sell orders to fill while the other coin they want to buy skyrockets. (yes there are foolish people who let greed get the better of them and chase rallies)
not everyone thinks as deeply about the purpose of a coin as the people here do.. (especially the non English speakers who cant even read the forums)
the evidence i have seen suggests that the manipulation is actually upwards not downwards.
and though I cant say for certain that somebody isn't trying to keep the price down I think its more likely that people are just taking profits where they can.
honestly if people with GPUs can still mine this coin and turn a small profit.. then people with ASICs are making a killing on this coin.
Well, after our next reward step, these ASICS miners will go to another coins, we will see way less dumping if we are right with this theory.
GPU miners will leave before ASIC miners do because GPU is about 10 times more expensive to run than a Scrypt ASIC.
and we don't want all the miners to leave now do we? that would be very bad indeed....
more miners + cheaper more efficient mining gear is what we need.... so that everyone can run a small unit under their desk and not have to worry about huge power bills.
Have any of the Scrypt ASICs hit the customers yet?

gridseeds have been out for a few months now.. the basic models have the hashing power of a midrange graphics card but use far less energy... about 300Khs at 7 watts... price range about $180-380 each.
Zeusminer just started shipping out their asics on tuesday with asics from 1.2mh/s up to 72mh/s (plus a bunch of free miners and hashing with their orders)
