There is a good trend on Mintpal. I think it will remain, so I took another push to 43. Now is the time to get your part of this great journey. No more 20-s!

Better brace yourselves this could be a steep climb Smiley

18 Million? NICE GUYS!
Who else can help? Get a high 5 from me.
I really like the multi-coin unity endeavor on this charity to help the family.
Anyone?

Dear Karmenions,

Thank you for raising 18Mio Karma for Peyton Evans Family. They need 30.000$ to pay for medical expenses. There are donations coming in from Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Fluttercoin, Reddcoin, Emc2 and Karmacoin. This is the first time that coins unite in a fundraising effort. However, the fundraising goal is not reached yet. The family has also made clear that it is not only money they need. It is also our mental support and that we care about this which helps them. So, it is ok to give just a little amount. The NUMBER of donations is at least as important as their height....

donation address (can also be found in the first and third link):

Also, from a purely technical vantage point, our miner rewards decrease by 75% next month, around June 23rd. So far we have handled the release of over 52B coins in just 3.5 months!  The scarcity that will be created with this reduction should also raise the price.  We have 6B coins left to release before June 23rd.

If you want to win millions of Karma?  please consider a 100,000k minimum bet in our KarmaWorldCup.org!  Raising funds in the process for a great charity!  World Cup media is about to kick into high gear.  We can really tag along with this fervor with a huge prize pool.  Current prize pool over 24M KARMs Smiley

I may not be so active as other users but i follow this thread every day. And i can say it's a joy reading all these about this great coin! Finally i see a coin with potential and great projects for the future! Regarding the Paypal/eBay deal i say fuck that shit. Karma is made for another reason and has great features that will make it stand out anyway. It may take a little longer but we don't need that kind of stuff. At least for now as there are 3-4 devs and you sure have lot of work to do guys. I mean lot of work for 3-4 people to make current projects perfect and they really are great projects (Kosmost once said "if it's not broken you haven't really touched it" !). You (we) are doing great. Move slow and steady. Personally i don't give a damn about current price. It may as well stay there or even lower so more people can join us. Great things are to come. We are not dumpers. We like to believe in something. Just my 2 cents..excuse my English.

Good stuff.  Thanks for the kind words of support.  This is a battle of survival of the fittest and a belief in a profitable future with a focus on doing good.  We have a solid team and want it to grow.  If you think you can help, PM us.

I have reached out on behalf of the team to 37coins.com today.  This is just one of the many projects we are working on.  You don't need to be a hacker coder to make a difference in this game.  We need help with marketing, communication, investor outreach, strategic planning, and all around simple administrative tasks.  Adding value to the community is paramount to its success.

We love that everyone is supporting by holding tight, but please consider joining us if you have an extra 10 or 15 minutes a day, you can make a real difference.  Smiley

You can mine some nice karma with you CPU while you do other stuff. above is a detailed step. a bit of a messy text but it should show each step. eventually i will clean this up a bit and make it more enjoyable to read. : )

Some easy steps for miners :

1. Download newest optimized CPU miner , i recomend pooler's https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/an-even-more-optimized-version-of-cpuminer-poolers-cpuminer-cpu-only-55038

2. set up a .bat file in the same folder root that you unziped the above miner. In my example i am using altcoin's pool as
Code:
"minerd -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://p2pool.altcoin.dk:9435 -u -p "

3.HuhHuh

4. Moon !

It's just something that's being considered for further discovery. There are many things to think about with this, as you know.

Nothing has been decided yet, of course. But it's good to get feedback from the community to see what we might think about it

If the idea is fully fleshed out and makes business sense, I am all for it. I think it's a great idea, and if it worked out it could be a game changer. So I believe that it's definitely worth pursuing (if nothing other than the idea and trying to find a way to make it work out). BUT, I think we need to be careful with it. It's easy to make a small mistake in that business and cost the company all of its holdings.

Fellow Karmanians there is a POLL going on, make your voice heard.

http://karmashare.me/index.php?do=/poll/21/should-karmashares-llc-be-the-first-crypto-corp-to-offer-3rd-party-support-/

This is about the suggestion of dogeyo_to_tokyo in our subreddit http://www.reddit.com/r/Karmashares/comments/25zv9r/out_of_the_blue_paypal_rep_might_have_gave_some/.

Let us sort this out and if profitable, let us grab this.

I like the idea however the limits of how much is covered and protections put in place need to be very carefully considered. The potential for abuse could be huge.

The primary benefit (in addition to media attention) is we would be making eBay a viable but expensive exchange for Karma. It would be a direct, trustable, easy to understand link from fiat to Karma. This is one of the key things that Karma needs.

However the issue is eBay's current stance is that all "Virtual Currency" transactions should be listed as Classified Ads. This means that all the transactions are actually done outside of eBay and PayPal. There are no buyer OR seller protections.

Although eBay has expressed a willingness to work with crytpocurrencies Karma doesn't have enough market capitalisation to warrant eBay's review of any proposal especially if eBay can't easily duplicate it with other cryptocurrencies.

By implementing a system to protect one of the parties (I suggest the buyer) it is possible to make the transactions relatively safe for both parties as long as the seller puts its own protections in place. The only issue is the seller will need to make a payment method available so that the buyer can prove that they sent the funds but in a way that the funds transfer can't be reversed. I do not believe PayPal will make an exception for Karma just because the Company is backing the transaction. The block chain can be used to prove the seller has sent Karma. It should be the seller that pays for the service of the Company and as a result of this can charge a higher amount for their Karma. Importantly we are not required to work with eBay or PayPal to implement this.

The real drawbacks are:
1. Who in the Company has the time to run this;
2. Which seller do you trust enough to back them; and
3. Isn't this exactly the same as any off market sale of Karma except the buyer found the seller on eBay?

I've voted yes but there needs to be a real plan in place before it can be discussed properly.

Chargin.

This is a very difficult thing to vote on right now, without knowing more specifics. Someone would have to come up with a very solid plan for me to say yes, because it's a risky endeavor even if everything is set up properly.

If someone wants to work on a real business plan for it, I'd definitely use that to cast my vote.
