"I don't think we're asking you to put your trust in us..."

I gotta call you out on that line of horseshit. The basic idea behind "give us your money and we will pay you back money" is based on the first half trusting the second half, Asking people to put trust in you is EXACTLY, to the letter, what you are doing.

Would you like your coins back? There's no need to talk like this. It is also not a requirement to participate. If you're uncomfortable with any of it, you should not invest.

Here is what I am saying, to put it in another way: "Do not trust people blindly. Look at the situation and see what kind of sense it makes. Would it make sense for kosmost to steal my coins?"

I'd rather focus on providing value to Karmacoin. Would you care to join me?

Although I'm currently holding 1.3 billion Karmacoins and believe that there will be an opportunity to sell them sometime way obove the price I bought them, I'm an IT-lawyer at the same time working for a global software company and wouldn't invest a single penny buying pseudo-shares of this non-transparent construct. Just to be clear: Kosmost is legally allowed to do whatever he wants with the coins you all sent him...

If you do not want to trust it is your choice.
No one will ask you directly nor make any kind of pressure for you to invest.

Kosmot is not specifically asking anyone to trust him or any other member.

Doesn't have to directly ask anyone for it to still be an issue of trust. I don't need to restate what I wrote, because the language is clear. He is damned well asking for people to put trust in him.

You all arguing around words. words that are used to describe something. what is it that you want to know?

Would it matter what you get back as a respond?

how about we all come back together and lets figure out other ways to help this coin grown into the goals we want.

when i say this coin. i mean this commuity backing up the coin. We all want to move forward. let find our what is the best way?

i plead everyone, share your thoughts and ideas on how we can improve (the community, not the LLC)

Ask me about Karmacoin
April 23, 2014, 01:52:42 PM
i must say. karmacoin had such a good vibe until recent few days

Not sure why the negativity. karmashare took weeks to be implemented. we have had questions, pools and numerous article about it. its not like it sprouted all of the sudden.

the main goal of it is to allow our goals to grow bigger. we all believe in doing good?  we all want to create this network of good deeds. We can not do it with karmacoin because karmacoin is a currencie and it will not ever evolve into anything else then a currency. you can only transfer monetary value with it.

by introducing karmashare and declairing that karmacoin will be the solely form of currencies to be used we added an other value of the coins. the coin is not only valued as a BTC value but now you could trade it for LLC shares

We can take the karmashareLLC mainstream and grow in network with it. By doing that , we give additional values to karmacoin. the more we push our LLC to be profitable the more people would want to get karmacoin and invest them into the shares.

We have removed the binding shackles from the BTC traders and miners and we are adding more dynamic to the karmacoin. We removed the power of miner/traders to control the coin value and added a new factor, the shares.

What is easier to evolve : karmacoin as a cryptocurencie or karmcoin's blockchain utility to create shares?

please dont take my post as a negative i'm just trying to get some facts.
i've seen a few things recently that looked good turn sour, minersbit for one i was so very close to sending them some money before it crashed
as it happens i ended up investing the money i'd transfered in to karmacoins when the price was 1sat only for the price to then drop to the lows it's been recently i keep coming back here time and time again, mining the coins buying when they are low all based on the trust you guys ask us to put in you but every time i see the value of my effort dropping more and more, so forgive me for asking so many questions.

Your questions and concerns are fine. We can address them.

However, I don't think we're asking you to put your trust in us. I suppose, essentially, that is what it amounts to. But for me, what's more important is that the situation is logical and that any questions or concerns can be explained and satisfied.

At the end of the day, though. You don't need to do anything that you're not comfortable with.

Not x10?

1 karmashare = 1000 karmacoins, so now, in the x10 period, were are : 1000 karmacoins = 10 karmashares !

Karmashares seems interesting, however, how would you prove that you own these shares to sell generates shares (or sell them all if you want in the future)?

For example, if I was the owner of THESE shares then where is the proof? A screen shot of you wallet or something like that? Because that could easily be photo-shopped/faked.

The shares are attached to the wallet, which will be viewable to all in the Share Explorer. This is powered by the blockchain.

You can prove you own the wallet address (by signing a message) so would be able to prove that you have the shares.

And while it can be proven that the coins have been transferred for shares what's to stop you closing the shares scheme down and keeping all the coins??

Enforceable and binding legal agreements.

And common sense.

Hmm, ok interesting. The 5million seems like a lot of invest in initially as there is no guarantee that you guys will not steal out money. Please do not take this as offence, it's just that there are a lot of scammers out there coming out with unique ways to take people's money, but I would probably put 1 mil in on a little gamble as it doesn't cost much and I bought a load when they were about 10 lsats.

You say you bought a load when they were only 10 litoshis and you think putting 5 million Karmacoin is too much!?!
How can you say both things in the same sentence?...

5 million Karm cost you less than 10 dollars at 10 litoshi each man!!!
You are being allowed to be part of a LLC that can grow like crazy (luckily!) for less than 10 dollars and you are complaining it is too much money to bet?

What the ****!

Seriously...lol

Why the derision?

Because I find it ludicrous that someone is complaining that investing around 7 dollars is too much, stating they "can not trust" the team behind Karmashares, when the team has shown a gigantic amount of good will, excellent ideas unlike what I have seen in the crypto world lately, and worked tirelessly.

No need to disparage someone for what they feel is too much to invest.
Keep the thread friendly.

i am new to karmacoin/karmashares, recently i sent 5m karm to karmashare, i am wondering if i send more (before april 26th) will they be added to my previous investment and downloadable pdf?

thanks!

Your ownership is via your wallet address. When we have the Share Explorer you'll be able to link your wallets to see your total shares, but unfortunately the confirmation needs to be separate.

Per the LLC operating agreement that we're doing for Karmashares membership (ownership) is the owner of the wallet address, and the blockchain is the publicly-accessible member register.

I know it sounds weird. But it could be the future.

That is understood. Generally speaking, where there is high risk there is high reward.

You don't need to invest anything. (In fact, you should probably not buy altcoins at all. Government bonds are much more safe investment.)
