The link in that line is bad.

Edit, oddly enough, not my paste of it, but the OP is bad...

It is unfortunate that a former dev has gone nuts on us (Karmagood)

Hopefully we can move on soon. When he's ready to be mature we can welcome him back as a member of the community.

Following what is being done from the start, and specially what is being done now by the Karma team, I really believe karma will be top 10 in Market Cap in some weeks!

And even better than the quick rise in price is the fact this coin is built to last!
A big market cap plus a coin built on solid foundations is what will allow us to fulfill the mission of Karmacoin.

If you monitor the action on Mintpal closely it almost seems as if two teams are battling it out. I call it pushers vs. blockers. Cheesy

I've been trading for about 10 years (mostly shares), they are traditionally called Shorties and Pumpers.

the shorties job is to dump shares/coins and try and cause a panic sell so they can buy back cheaper (whether they Short sell (on stock markets) or simply dump their own coins the principle is the same)
the pumpers job is to try and spark a rally so they can cash out and then buy back again after the pump subsides.

every market has them.

the thing I have noticed is that trade bots don't seem to have taken over the LTC market in Mintpal yet so the trading is a little Fairer for the average Joe Punter.

good luck to all... I'm sure it wont be long before the Whales and Trade-Bot operators step in to try and Manipulate the heck out of this market too.

If you monitor the action on Mintpal closely it almost seems as if two teams are battling it out. I call it pushers vs. blockers. Cheesy

The pushers slowly work their way towards or just over the previous high. Once they reach a certain tipping point the blockers dump a huge load of coins on the market and take the price down by 5-10 litoshis. Then the pushers start working their way upwards again. This happens several times a day. The pushers are currently slowly but surely winning, driving average price by a couple of litoshi a day. Looks like the blockers are slowly running out of coins.

In some ways the current phase reminds of the calm before the storm during Blackcoins rise. It had just increased 5-10x and then managed to remain stable/rise slowly for a while. Once the wealthy players had "stocked up" at still good prices (and even 70 litoshi is still a good price for KARM), the market went boom (another 5-10x increase with a bubble to 15x). Karmacoin can do the same and maybe even more, considering it is still only valued at 1.5 satoshi - the previous high was 10sat and KARM actually had a lot less to offer then.

Sticking to the LTC market is a wise idea IMO, too much profit to be made by price manipulation in the single digit satoshi markets. LTC markets allow for better growth at current price levels...

Ok this doesn't make sense. Large buys up to and engulfing the 72 buy wall and then someone comes out and dumps 150 LTC worth down to and including 66? That makes no sense whatsoever. It's fine because we all get more cheap coins but really odd.

there were plenty of people who mined and/or bought wads of this coin and then forgot about it only to come back in the last few days to be pleasantly surprised.. cashing in some of your holdings at this juncture is not such a bad idea if you bought low.. I was buying all the way down to 18 litoshi... been selling small chunks all the way up. if I was a whale then my chunks would have been larger but alas I am not a whale yet.

if someone was buying down to 13 litoshi then they would have only needed to spend about 50 ltc (that's only about $600) to cash in for a nice tidy 3X bagger and thats assuming it was only one guy.. in all likelihood it was probably several..

thats exactly why .. we should move really slow .... but time for 10x bonus is runing out Cheesy

Nice and comfy new thread, looking forward to continue our discussions here. I brought an old answer I was typing into this thread if you don't mind:

So shares/points which are exchanged now are permanent (stay with that wallet address). While from May 11th any remaining holdings in that wallet basically give you changing bonus shares, depending on how many and how long you held coins there, right?

Example:
I exchange 50M coins for 500,000 shares today (10x bonus). I also hold another 100M on that wallet forever. For 30 days I hold an additional 100M KARM there. At the end of that quarter my shares would be my the fixed 500,000 points + 100,000 points for the constant holdings + (1/3 * 100,000 = 33,333 ) points for my 30 day holdings = 633,333 points total. Am I correct?

Your wallet will be eligible for share points after May 11, provided it has more than 10MM coins and is held for at least 30 days (June 10+, about)

You may think I'm crazy but I really think we will hit 100 latoshi today.
And in the coming weeks we will hit 1000 latoshi.

we are still in a depressed crypto market atm so if we can hold in the 60-70 litoshi range then as more money comes into BTC and LTC, KARM should rise higher simply on momentum as people begin to diversify their portfolios.. the chart is looking pretty good atm.
