I'm listening. What kind of dialogue have you personally had with them up to this point East?
Give us your sentiments and please remind us all exactly who all are the the gatekeepers involved/holding those coins.
Both Mintpal version 1 as well as version 2 if you are in possession of that as well as total coins estimated by those gatekeepers if they have offered that info to you (or what you surmise).

Maybe the people who can pass our Mintpal dbase KARMA wallet  is waiting for us to offer some kind of "donation" for their "legal fee"

what do you think gusy? I think we should not let 2014 end without at least getting that DASE safe in  community hand??.

Me, I did not have any dialogue with any of them. bitwho is our contact man. All other details were posted here before. Chargin may have summarized the current situation a while back.

Personally and without prejudice to anyone. I think an offer of assistance for legal fee from the value of the total KARMA that will be released is not that bad, considering the possibility of those coins to be lost to some unknown hand... But that's just me. Everyone can make up their mind about this of course. I hope you are all having a fine time with your loved ones.

Better KARMA for us all this coming year.

I for one will come personally come after them and make them suffer.
For their own welfare I hope it's not so.

To me personally Karma (and to some point cryptos) died with mintpal.
I was dumb enough to leave all my coins on an exchange but im not brave enough to buy in again when billions of karma might possibly be dumped on markets by the conmen who ran moolah/mintpal.

Best of luck and good karma to you all  Smiley

I have a question.

What about all those Karma Coins, which people lost on Mintpal?

That is a problem caused by Mintpal.

I think the new team behind Karma can not (and in my opinion should not) do much about it.

Since KARM was traded mostly on Mintpal, many people lost there their KARM. This is big problem for KARM, since it lost lot of supporters. At least 10% of all Karm, maybe even more was on Mintpal. Nobody will touch KARM until it is clear what happened to that KARM. Best for KARM is to return Mintpal KARM as soon as possible to real owners. Nobody here likes this situation, but it is the first step. Without that any other steps will be much less effective.

There is some truth to what Socoban posted. Ever since Moolah screwed up the transition from Mintpal v1 to Mintpal v2 and closed shop. Tons of Karma coin were lost in between servers and no one could withdraw their coins back. Having lost their coins , it makes all the sense to assume that these people see no point of sticking around and continue to stay active. Whether it was by posting here , or on social medias.

It is a blow as we are trying to pick up the paste and find our mojo again. I personally wished that those who lost their coins would still stick around and help out. Especially now that we see most of other coins as dying to scams and shady behavior.

A great thing about Karma is that as it falls there are people lined up to help it stabilize again, both in markets and services. There are a tons of "lurkers" who believe in Karma. While this is a great feature, simply having strong Karma believers has only proven to make Karma harder to be left to die in the markets. What we need now is the Karma devoters. We have always needed this actually. We(old team) were waiting for people to understand this themselves and join to help out. We all saw that that was not the case.

We invited you all many times to get involved. To join chat sessions. To devote your hidden talents and skills. This will have to be a community effort or else. If you want a democratic Karma-network then you all need to get involved. no exceptions. Otherwise you will have to sit there and watch selected groups stir Karma any direction that they want.

Here we are once again invited to help Karma. Except the Swiss building and implement Karma on their business they are also working with us to spring up Karma site , explorer and forum. Tons of help is needed from people in Karma community.  We need as much people as possible devoting their time and resources to keep Karma's main site up. Helping set up a new forum where it would be much easier to archive topics and communications. helping in new projects and up keeping old ones. It is of very importance that we unite and come through and help out those that want to help us back.

Thoughts?

Social Media Tipping Bot

Very interested to see what we can work out with respect to this.
Would like to additionally see some type of plug and play option for independent websites allowing community members of a website to tip each other for their content uploads.
Maybe this is what is proposed(?) with this "Social Media Tipping Bot....or is this to be specifically developed only for youtube/facebeook as a plugin?

Hello all,

Sorry for the silence but we are all very busy to get things working again for Karma. We are not completed yet but here is what we have done so far.

- created a new permanent home for the Karma Website @ www.givekarma.net sponsored by Swiss Cryptotech
- the old Website karmacoin.me has been forwarded to the new homepage (Thanks to BitWho talking care of that)
- We have added the Karma BlockExplorer original from socoban and linked it in the website
- Current Wallet versions 0.8.6.5 are available for download

What is coming next: (not in any specific order)
- small improvements to the Karma BlockExplorer incl. documentation (so everyone can use it for themselves)
- new Wallet's incl. 32/64bit Linux Wallet
- Karma API
- Social Media Tipping Bot

And of course all this is not possible without the help of the Community!

What we are looking for:

1. Karma Bloggers / Content writer for and about Karma related topics on the new Website
2. Karma Forum Admin who takes care of the new Karma Forum (phpBB based).
3. Maybe a web-/graphic designer who creates some nice picture for the Website

so if you are interested please drop me a message.

Thanks again for your patience
best,
scryptminer

Actually the Karma API will let you do that already, you can interface it with your own website and use Karma as a reward / payment option.

What a silence... Are there any news about our coins in Mintpal V1? Plan for future of Karma?

No further news at the moment. The wallet / database haven't been provided yet. I've been advised that Bitwho is working with Ferdousbhai who is currently being held up by something outside of his control.

Chargin.

How powerful did the server this was hosted on have to be? Having games available is an awesome thing -- just need to market it.

I have personally offered to support the website / run a copy of the website from a other domain f.o.c to help support Karma. Either web hosting or VPS hosting is fine

Just a fyi, I'm shutting down http://www.karmagames.info, The costs of running the site have been out of pocket and I can't justify keeping it going with very little traffic. So if anybody has any coins held there it would be wise to withdraw them before the shutdown. I'm planning to shut it down effective January 1st, 2015 so 45 days from the time of this post. Any remaining coins not claimed by then will be re-purposed for the sole use of spreading awareness of karma/donated to any projects that are in the works at that time.

A little update, surprissingly I never received any emails about this but a oversight on my part had some of the withdrawal form disabled so withdrawals weren't working. I have fixed the problem and withdraws are good to go. I've also extended the deadline due to this mishap an extra 30 days until February 1st, 2015. So 50 days from the time of this post.

I have not had a reply off spitfire1337 yet but I am publicly offering use of my companies hosting services (CryptoCloudHosting) and (Currently private) VPS business services to ensure continued running of http://www.karmagames.info. I can also personally help with maintenance if required.

As much as I'd like to keep the site going, I'm going to cut my losses and shut it down as planned. This way I can repurpose the wallet after the remaining un-withrawn funds are donated for something to better serve karma and it's purpose. It was a fun project site and experience learner, but I'm ready to move on past it to provide something that will get more use than the few visitors I'm currently getting.
