The last 24 hours have seen BTC volume up over 900% above yesterday and the day before on Mintpal.
Karmacoin isn't dead. It is near death. Like other cryptocurrencies we are down, but Karmacoin is not out of the race. We are executing a business development plan to add tremendous value in the coming weeks and months. We have detailed the plan to our community, are meeting deadlines, and continuing to work on it as we speak.
Now is the time that smart investors buy, not sell. It is very unlikely that you will find Karmacoin for sale this cheap ever again.
But I actually do not recommend that you buy Karmacoin now. If you are not sure about Karmacoin's future, don't buy. There is no need, and it may not suit your risk profile (as would any other cryptocurrency). I only ask that you suspend judgement for 30 days and "wait and see" before thinking that Karmacoin is dead.
There is no other coin that is moving as quickly as Karmacoin right now are far as executing their plan. Most coins don't even have a plan.

The majority have spoken. Implement the logo change now and lets rescue our coin before fuckers get 100 Million for 100 bucks and make us all worthless bagholders.

What if everyone contacted youtubers with many followers. And tried to get them to start a karmacoin wallet, and take donations, to help promote the coin?

Thanks. It's just the beginning, though. The idea is to build a global brand. The website and new logo are just one of the ways to accomplish that. Making the brand appealing and attractive to the general population (or at least our target market) is integral to rapid growth.
It is important that we be seen as a serious, useful currency in relation to our peers (Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Reddcoin).
A good brand, message, website, etc., acts as a value multiplier.
This simply means that people are likely to 1) use it more; and/or 2) invest in it more than they would have if we did not have a good brand, etc.
With a strong brand and message we will attract the serious money. That is the invisible hand in the market that a lot of altcoins don't think about. The serious money drives the value of the share/coin in the marketplace.
In response to the person that had a concern about not being able to see the path to substantially increased value, this is how it's done. It's how the big boys have done it since the dawn of modern consumerism. It's how successful companies do it. And it's how we will do it.

i see what you are saying, i suppose the biggest problem really is having a product or something that you can buy with these coins. as someone said back in the thread make a game where karma is the in game currency.

I'm sure somebody somewhere is working on it, although I don't think that would have much effect right now since people are becoming more reluctant to spend their cryptos as they devalue...
for example MAXCoin and Doge have had some pretty newsworthy wins with online stores accepting their coins but both are still significantly down on what they were a just few weeks ago.
the best thing we can do now is what we have always tried to do and that is grow the community and get more coins into the hands of new people.
