A general question regarding Komodo. Can the coin be considered as a privacy coin like Monero, ZCash etc? And are transactions basically anonymous?

Yes to all and then some. Komodo is a platform.

Despite the slight price increase, am still surprised by the low price of this coin
When you're ready to explain how 5.25x in a month is "slight", I'm ready to listen ....

maybe he said slight because other coins did x40 or x20 in the last month, while kmd still has the potential to grow much more
i can see that coin in the 10 billion marketcap levels

what is the price you expect for this coin?? it doubled though.. I think its enough for the year Cheesy

It amazes me how people are clueless to the massive returns kmd along with other cryptos have given back to us.  Undecided

Kmd is on the path to glory. Price has been moving up steadily. With marketing comes the real moon. It will be interesting to watch in the next few days

Yes, going too high too quick is never good. But the potential for KMD to go up more is high considering the coins/tokens above it on coinmarketcap.  The amount of working tech to marketing ratio is very high for KMD. Whereas some projects in the top 30 are pretty much all marketing/hype.

I deposited some BTC to BarterDex....later found out the tx fees were to high....so now I'm trying to withdraw but it doesn't seem like BarterDex is doing anything. Anyone else see this issue?

If it is a problem load up Agama, and BTC SPV wallet, with the same passphrase as you used in barterdex.

Hi guys
How I can change my BTCD to komodo ? (my BTCD is on exchange)
I see this pdf
http://bitcoindark.com/docs/How%20to%20Install%20and%20Use%20Your%20BitcoinDark-QT%20Wallet.pdf
Download bitcoindark wallet but it is out of sync.
What should I do ?

Given the fact that the BTCD blockchain seems stuck, it appears to me that the only solution is to sell your BTCD (, transfer your BTC to an exchange that's trading KMD if necessary) and buy KMD. There might be a slight loss (or gain) if the prices of BTCD and KMD do not match the current conversion rate (which I don't know) or if KMD shoots up (or down) between the time you sell BTCD and the time you buy KMD.

Or you can just wait til it is unstuck and swaps are enabled again.

guys just to get some understanding
if anyone holing btcd on an exchange what is going to happen  with all these swap etc? is it safe to leave them  there or need to move ? thanks

Keeping coins on exchanges is never a smart move. Use exchanges to buy and sell and use wallets to hodl.

BTCD left on an exchange will remain on the exchange.
with the expiration of the right to convert to KMD, BTCD will likely lose most of its value, but I cannot predict what will happen to the price in today's market

In Crypto I trust.
I can see my REVS in the explorer but can't access them in the Agama wallet. How can I import my BTCD encrypted wallet.dat into Agama? My REVS are linked to my BTCD wallet. I went to the "wallet.dat keys" section and tried to add my BTCD private key for REVS but it says 'wallet encrypted?'. I was able to import the BTCD private key in an older version of Agama or Iguana.

Can anyone help with the above? I manually created a REVS folder under %appdata%/komodo and copied my BTCD wallet.dat file to there but it's encrypted. How can I access my REVS share from the Agama client?
Using your btcd wallet.dat in the revs folder is not the proper way. If you have a btcd wallet.dat then you need to use a btcd wallet. if you meant that you have a KMD wallet.dat then all you need to do is export your privatekeys and import them into the asset chain of your choice. Please open a support ticket at support.komodoplatform.com for further technical assistance.

Thanks, I'll probably open a support ticket. My REVS are in an account that has the same address as my old BTCD wallet and are not linked to my Komodo address where my KMD and other tokens are. I don't know a way to access those REVS in my Agama wallet.
