I had participated in Komodo signature camapign and had received 1200 kmd for that in ICO dashboard.Back then Kmd had no stable wallet so I left my coins there and forgot.I still have access to dashboard and seed,.Anyway to get my kmd to exchange wallet?Though I never saw any kmd in my dashboard but I was told they are on blockchain.Any help would be appreciated
If you download and instal The new agama wallet in native mode with your seed, you can import your komodos and use they as you want, wallet is going perfect and you will enjoy your invest
I have the same problem,
I mined some KMD 1 month ago.
I installed this week the agama wallet. I imported the Private key but.... nothing.... 0 KMD
I sent some KMD from Bitrex to test the wallet. --> OK !!!
If I look at the blockexplorer, I see the mined KMD and the sent KMD at this address but not in Agama.
I'll check the support :-D
hi folks, as a point of reference I would like to make a few comments because it seems we are not all on the 'same page' .. this would be quite an obvious result of running many different versions operating systems in various states of being. what seems to be confused by plenty of people is that new new Agama wallet is actually "working" for everyone. I am here to say that it is not. I run linux and have been grappling with Agama for months. Actually mostly I use the command line tools because agama has never worked for me. the earlier versions appeared to be 'working' the best although they still generated addresses in SPV mode that I couldnt obtain (at the time to my knowledge) the private keys for the addresses. So I stopped using Agama for a while.
Just a quick comment for anyone who is using Agama- BE SURE TO HAVE ALL OF YOUR PRIVATE KEYS. That way you will never "lose" coins due to a malfunctioning GUI because you have the privkey.

$komodod&
$komodo-cli importprivkey [your privkey here]

If you don't have the privkey, it's not really your address! Thats just a joke I say about this all. wallet.dat is not good enough, DUMPPRIVKEY and put them somewhere safe. Then you know you can restore your funds from anywhere. Thats one problem solved.
The other problem is with the fact that people think Agama works? It does not. I installed in a fresh VM of Ubuntu, read that as clean and fresh install I know you know and then loaded Agama. I am sorry to say that I preferred the 'more-working' version of Agama without the fancy ubuntu/windoze installer because it (the older version) appeared to work better once it was installed. A fancy installer does not do a damn bit of good when it installs a broken piece of software.
Why is it broken? From komodod output I can see the blockchain is in full sync. For some reason Agama fails to realize that when the coin is started in Native mode with a full blockchain sync.. Agama says "KOMODO IS DOWN" and I see that it is at 1.000000 and it is NOT DOWN because I can issue komodo-cli calls just fine.
While I love Komodo and I am hyper impressed with the tool kit that most people dont yet understand, I am struggling to see why you would ever release these GUI's to the public???!!! Zcash has done much better by _NOT_ releasing the GUI's so you can see that it is better to have a non existent tool then something that is claiming to work and it broken. This is a great way to keep the price of KMD down low so I am not complaining because I am trying to get as much KMD as possible before it blasts off.
One final note is that the buildog barterdex is just slightly offensive (to a big time komodo fan) because they dont even put KMD at the top of the list on the coin menu! WTF???!!!! I am furios about this. It's not branded KMD is makes no mention of supernet or komodo it just says BUILDOG and bumps KMD down the list like it is some lesser coin what a f*ckin joke! I have got say that I am really insulted by this (and no I have nothing to do with KMD just a big fan who feels cheated by the buildog barterdex) ... I HOPE KOMODO IS NOT PAYING BUILDOG FOR THAT THING AND IF THEY ARE THEY SHOULD BE SURE IT IS PROPERLY BRANDED BEFORE RELEASE !!!
Thank you for reading and considering these statements. And good news on the postpone of the MNZ barter there is no way that would have been a good result. JL777: you are way too far ahead of your team and maybe some more effective GUI devs are called for because the current GUI's make the whole coin look like a joke in the eye of the public. Better off with command line tools and nobody even knowing how to use it then a bunch of tools that dont work. Just my two sense.
Lots of love to everyone involved ,and thanks you.
