Well, I guess at the heart of my being, I am not a malicious person. Yes I have the savvy to be a millionaire using the net, but that would defeat the purpose of struggling to do so. I am however willing to piss off people who rip not only me off, but MANY others. This is the only currency I have got involved with that actually gets you to sign up THEN says your gettin nowt.. email harvesting through and through.

Did I need to sign up to get bitcoin? No.

Why all this protection for what is nothing more than a joke?

Aside's from the fact the OP has a trophy for getting those who voted him to the top in a poll that allows more than one vote per person is in itself a joke... but a good trophy. It show's he has capability.. shame he never saw me coming Wink

Edit: The coins are useless to anyone, why dya think they sell them asap?

Haha, yeah, I never did scam them outta anything, I mean, how many people actually registered that did not get paid?

Never mind the 'pending' referals that have sat there for months now.. the only reason he wants email address's to check is so he dont have to pay them all..

Proof of concept?

I conceptualise I am the first human to show a crypto currency can be killed by simply telling the truth.

Edit: Seems I'm now being asked to hack you!!

Instead, I'll post this link:

http://www.isthisfilesafe.com/company/Latium_details.aspx

So I goto temp dir, before executing the application authenticator.exe, which Latium believe they can lock out, but they do not understand I have now gained access to the so called 'locked' file in this directory.. the one with a randomly generated 4 digit code, that they think can be locked and hence, cant be copied.. make an iso of it using ultraiso, in the temp dir. nothing to it.. nothing in it either..

See, personally, I would first move latium dir, and the wallet dir in doc's n settings, into a new folder, install new lat, make note of new address, use authenticator, just to get the address, then send every account created to a new lat account. Simple. Over and over again. I only post this, cause my email addy is gettin popular, and I COULD in theory jus make loads of bitcoin explaining that authenticator.exe is just a useless peice of nonsense.

So why don't you just do it? What better way to stick it to them than taking a bunch of coins?

And just to show that I mean no harm, NEWSSID.exe will give your pc an entirely new id. run it with every fake email address you can think of.. go on, get yer free latium. Such is the price for rippin off a customer who just might know more.. Until you pay out, I will continue to point out this currencies HACKS Wink

And I will not give you the email in question, pay them ALL out you scrooge!!

no real point in scamming them out of Latium though, it's essentially a worthless currency if no one accepts it for anything real. You're right about the DB being worth more than the currency at this point

Latium - Coming soon to the Ethereum network
September 30, 2014, 10:55:16 AM
Latium will not discuss how many people they have short changed, or simply not paid.. it went from proof of concept (one ip per account until I ball'sed that up for them due to rippin me off..) to whatever they now use as a replacement excuse for 'proof of concept' - dump yer latium in the recycle bin, no point in supporting folks who cant pay out what's due.

Please send us a direct message and we will be glad to look into this issue for you. To date, Latium has issued ~922,000 Latium coins to users all over the world.

So what?

What are you due out?

How many people have you banned for creating an account, by not paying out?

You'll quite happily lead people through the entire registration process before they find out their latium has been NOT or will never be paid.. this, my friend, is akin to a virus, and is spreading. Your 'Proof' of concept is as dissapointing as it was when I posted that my kids cant join, due to same ip.. that of course was before I also realised that isp's occasionally change your ip, so a new guy comes along with a new ip, only it's not, it's given to someone else by another isp entirely..

I was'nt kiddin when I said I dumped it, but I do log in now and again just to remind myself of why I keep reminding folks of this losing enterprise, next time round, make sure you pay Wink

I killed Latium, put it on the forum and kissed it goodbye Wink

Latium no longer uses IP based registration limitations. Latium is restricted to one claim per machine. (*Currently only available to Windows users)

Well, thank you for noticing that I MAY have found your currencies weakness.. shame all those folks who joined for something wont get paid though huh? So how many email address's did you harvest? 'cause youd make more sellin that db for bitcoin than lat will make anyone Sad

Too late, your currency has probably used up all its 'possible' accounts.

We're sorry you are disappointed in Latium. Our intent is not to harvest emails or deny any users their legitimate claims. Your input helps us improve our system and we thank you for that. We wish you the best of luck with other endeavors.

Hello,

We're here. The "Developments" we were referring to include these:

-User wallet control (you can change the address whenever you'd like)
-Increased fraud protection (our new system is successfully preventing fraud)
-Automatic approvals and instant payouts (many users asked for this)

As far as future developments, we have several in the works. It is your decision as to what to do with your LATIUM. We always suggest keeping it for the future when prices are sure to rise, but if you feel the need to remove yourself from the system or sell your coins, that is up to you. We thank you for all of your hard work and loyalty. We expect bright days in Latium's future.

-LAT devs

Unfortunately, I am not convinced that the scams have been filtered out. The coin-swap who is logged in more than 100,000 conversion of Lat. This is hardly a direct link him to come dissemination.

It also caused a fall in the exchange rate, but the fact that the developers of the good low price, otherwise would have intervened to defend the exchange rate.

All of these events have taken place since the change in the registration system, which raises the question of whether the developers, this was not to his will?
