GINcoin's algorithm consists of 50% reward to MN holders and 50% for its miners. If I'm not mistaken, you will not receive any reward by staking (or staking is not possible at all) due to the algorithm that I mentioned. I've been mining this coin since 4 months ago but I stopped it midway as I'm not getting any from it. It can be that I'm doing something wrong with my mining setup. If you have the money to buy a full node, go ahead and setup 1 node within GIN platform. It is very easy and costs you a penny every month. The reward is still good and enticing if you are looking for passive income especially if you have cash just lying around your house doing nothing. Grin
