New Wallet and HARD FORK to reduce stake rewards is going to happen soon.  PLEASE pay attention here and the IRC channel for details.  Please... the coin devs want your input, feedback, questions, opinions, etc.  This is YOUR coin... a community coin with a team of coin devs trying to help.  Thank you.

So the dev team wants to drop the rewards faster and have them stop at 100 coins per stake. Is the LDOGE community up for that change? The new  staking reward structure would look like this 10k, 5k, 2.5k, 1.25k, 750, 400, 200, 100. Also we want to raise the transaction fee to 1 LDOGE.

The changes what the dev team are proposing will require a hard fork. Also we could do the reward structure like this too, 10k, 4k, 2k, 1k, 500, 250, 100 alternately if people want a lil faster reward changes.

I suggested extreme reward reduction about 9 months ago before the community died off

I vote yes for change.

The community is still alive... as is the coin.  NOW we just need to tweak it a bit and get more of the community involved again!   Smiley  Now is the time to make this coin really shine!

I know there aren't many folks left here, but what do you guys think of a rebranding initiative? I'm thinking gear this to a social media tipping medium that is project agnostic and just spreads coins out everywhere good advice is given. We rename it something like "cheers" or something and get all these coins into more hands.

With this coin supply and this block reward the only way I see survival is for coin distribution to ramp up. That isn't going to happen on exchanges, we're only on 2 and we can't even give coins away at 1 satoshi each! This problem is only going to get worse because the block reward isn't stopping churning out coins anytime soon. So I see spreading CHEERS on social media platforms everywhere as our only hope.

Open Source bots are available for most platforms and we just gear them to our daemon and spread them out everywhere. So CHEERS bots can be on r/bitcoin or r/ethereum or polo troll box or the twittersphere. We can program them to dispense CHEERS when a comment reaches so many upvotes automatically on any subreddit on the web. People will get CHEERS and not even know what the hell they are. Then they'll want to pass it on so they start giving cheers for good advice on other subreddits or twitter posts and it just spreads.

That's a good coin distribution and a good community growth plan.

Thoughts?!

I'd be willing to put up 1% of total coin supply for a rebranding effort.

use that for development.  i think the brand is ok.  tipping bots and more exchanges that have alt markets.  make the coin more accessible with mobile wallets, multi wallets,

I got the same message too. At first I thought it was a browser issue, but then I tested it on other browsers like Firefox and Opera, and then I realized that it was the page itself. I wonder how the page would look like. As for me, I have been a little away from LiteDoge. But still, I have plenty amount of LDOGE to get back to staking. At this time, I'd bet that staking reward has been reduced. Anyways, price is still relatively the same when I first bought the coin, so that is a good sign for price stability.  Cheesy

I'm about 10 blocks ahead of what the explorer shows.... wrong chain?  465282 is what I show...   465277 is what http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/LDOGE/shows.

Resyncing the wallet now.

The presstab explorer is correct!  If you're still having issues, rebuild your wallet from your privkeys and use -rescan each time you restart after adding a new address.  That's what it took for me.  Works fine now.

how can i update this on my raspi and linux?
Is there magic code of line to pull it?

the wallet has been compiled for RPi = https://bitbucket.org/ctgiant/litedoge/downloads/litedoge-3.3.0.0-Raspi2.tar.gz

I believe there was a tutorial in the old thread on pulling this and getting going, but I don't have time to search for it. I'll point you there though.
