Some of you are new to trading and complaining about not buying leaf at such and such price. There is much more to it then mining and dumping for chump change. Or watching a youtube video on Bitcoin and thinking you got the art of it. Leaf is cheap now its cheap in the 20s. This is an investment not a trade. Buy leaf and hold. Get out and spread the word. Go visit your local nursery and tell them about leaf. Get more people involved. I believe in mcg he is sincere in what he's trying to do. We should all follow and help him grow this coin.

There are millions of activists that are willing to put full support behind saving the rainforest, plant a tree, keep the world green. I for one think this is one of the nicest project anyone can take part of from ground level. But mcg can't do it alone. He needs all our support. Think of ways to bring this coin to the light of others. Getting them to invest just a few dollars ($5, $10, etc) will help us all.

someone asked what a multipool is, let me explain their modus operandi;

a multipool mines the most profitable coin, a multipool typically has a lot of hashrate.

a coins profitabily is calculated using diff and number of coins generated per block. calculated is at which hashrate and in which time how many coins are generated. the result is converted into btc value.

they make a list of most profitable coins using these parameters

they sort the list, most profitable on top.

the pop off the top one... thats what they are going to mine.

the multipool has a lot of hashing power ( middlecoin over 22ghash ).. they point all that power to the most profitable coin.

the coins are mined in an instant... since diff is low.. they will be mined in an instant

then diff is pushed way up on the ladder. they do a recalc.. now another coin is more profitable. so they leave and go mine the other coin.

rinse and repeat....

they autosell the coins on cryptsy ( as we see what is happening now )

they payout in btc to their miners.

multipools are a headache to all coins having fixed retarget number of blocks.

a solution is kgw, however, this will not keep the multipools away... they will still mine a couple of blocks when diff is low.

see the sell orders at cryptsy ( the sell orders that dump right into the buy orders).

however, multipools can also be beneficial since they provide a better distribution of the coins to you and me.

I really wish I had bought into this leafcoin when it was first created and got some cheap leaves, as look how successful it has become!

Fingers crossed for some new altcoins to arrive and be as successful to give leafcoin some more competition of that standard.

its not a simple prediction as that..

Leaf is right now among the most profitable to mine.

But our price is judged by network hash and difficulty. If we had double the hash rate/difficulty then we would have seen double the price. But double the price would still mean the same earning amount if you were to mine and sell immediately as we would be getting half the coins.

When block halving occurs anyone of two things could occur. We lose network hash/difficulty due to a drop in coin production which means price could halve or we gain network hash/difficulty and price will double to meet the new coin production tally.

Either way short of mcg quitting LEAF project.. it doesnt matter if you bought in at 30 or 10.. its the one's who hold who will see the maximum benefit.

Quick block halving seems to be the popular recipe now but i've noticed it takes a while for market to adjust..

Best way to double the prices would be to start increasing buying pressure right upto and beyond the next block halving... Sell pressures are pretty much set at this point due to the amount mined prior to the 1st block halving tend days and my estimation would be around the 4th block halving when we see a better distribution of the LEAF which will allow for more spontaneous market movement.

Please realize.. Panic sells.. crashing prices.. are generally good for us as at this stage as it speeds up the process of getting the coin distributed.

I've mentioned it before and i will say it again.. Leaf will likely need to be pumped at least the first time... as it will knock out a lot of the general stagnant panic sells that have built up... if we get to the 4th block halving and get pumped... the prices should settle in the 4 digit range as it will have to be supported by coin production and the subsequent network hash/difficulty at which point any pumper will be smiling his butt off for buying up the majority of the coins at 2 digit prices and then dripping the rest into market. My advice if you start seeing the prices rising as a form of a pump.. dont add more sells.. as what we are aiming for will be 3 digit price tags at first.. Currently though i dont think we make an attractive pump target as there just is too much selling pressure.. so unless it's a group with very deep pockets.. we are gonna have to do the mine and sell (whenever your comfortable) route.

I screwed up once that way.. never again... waited 2 months... when a coin was at 1.. sold it at 20 on the first hour of the pump...12 hours later.. price touched 115..all that waiting wasted... just because i couldn't hold for 12 hours.

it's much more stable now after the cryptsy debacle and slowly going up for days now (slowly = >30%)

I have  heared this such saying many days ago, but the price is still dumping.

just mine the coin and sell at whatever price you're comfortable with, or hold or gift or whatever
it is still one of the most profitable coins out there, even after first halving 

11 down, just like I said. If you want to double your money - buy LEAFs for 12. Block halving in 2 days will cause minimum 40% higher price. It means around 14/15 in the worst case. 

Today is the last chance to get cheap LEAFs. 11 and 12 will go down easily soon. Believe me
