Today there was such an inscription. In the morning, the antivirus was deleted wallet altogether. I restarted my wallet, and added it to the exceptions. Now like this
I have the first wallet
This is normal for wallets with built in mining capabilities and it's this aspect of the software that causes the false positive virus detection.
As long as you downloaded the wallet from our
Github or our
Website it is completely safe.
To be honest we never expected the project to get so much attention straight away. We thought people would have a chance to mine with their CPU for at least a month or two before the ASIC's got on board. We will remove the miner from the wallet in a future release as it's pretty much pointless now. That should stop the virus alerts.
Neat.
Developer(s) has been very active, that's good!
Yes I put the (s), there's no proof of multiple developers. Could use some more actually buy support, not even dreaming of volume right now. One of things that bothers me about coinmarketcap is that they will only say the market cap is based on the circulating supply versus total supply. However, some of the pre-mine was given out in bounties and they are circulating, and who's to say the dev coins are not also circulating? So, the market cap should reflect that, it's more than we think (30% more at this point).
Dev Suggestions: Forget the electronic music scene angle, unless of course you're some top performer/producer that really does have access to people that can move this coin into the forefront. You seriously have too much competition in that arena with cryptocurrency. The good launch, name, website, community, development communication, and just damn-good hashrate for a new coin are your strong points.
Thanks!
Thanks for your comments, really appreciate it.
You are correct about the market cap although it's not that much. About 70k of the premine is now in circulation due to airdrops, bounties, listing fees etc. The remainder of the 1,000,000 premine is still held by us and is not in circulation.
We actually quote the total amount of coins minted on our website as the available supply, even though this is not strictly true as you can see from above, but coinmarketcap required a very definite amount of actual coins out there in the wild. So, their figure is correct save for about 70,000 LINX. When a more significant amount of the premine is released we'll contact coinmarketcap so they can update the stats.
For the record (no pun intended), everything laid out in our announcement is valid. The reason we are focusing this project on the market in question is because this has been our market for years. Our collective team has been influential and actively working in this field since the early 1990's. Your remark about too much competition in this area is exactly why we aren't detailing our roadmap or who our lead dev is until everything is in place and we are ready to unleash the full potential of Linx.
