I try to mine with cpu for 1 day..and nothing, not a single coin mined,so i think it's time to stop.
And by the way,i mined on this pool: http://pool.mylinx.io/workers the poll says that i have submited 128 shares, but my miner says i submited few thousand shares. Is pool stuck?
Nevermind...i mine with cpu only,so this is goodbye!  Smiley
mine with cpu? realy? Smiley)
Look at http://explorer.mylinx.io/

Can your cpu compete with such hashrate?

Because the price was pumped up, currently a lot of people are mining. And it's impossible for you to use CPU or even the GPU to mine Scrypt-based coins at the current hash rate.

Sad No block source available! Sad

From a non geek after installing a dozen same looking QT's I can tell they are all from the same code base, you would think one guy would think of making the installer put the file there even if it's "Ok paste the nodes from the forum (link) here then save again" something like that but I have had to hunt it down a dozen times and also some coins they even change the name and it's case sensitive it's a nightmare jsut getting the wallets to work. The only normal working wallet so far is Exodus that's the minimum what a wallet should be like, with all the cash devs get you would think they would be 100 time better but most are just copys and they get hundreds of thousends in payment but i"m here paying for this and have to manually do the work dev's should have done since they are paid from us paying for these coins with BTC.

I hate to have to say this but no one does so I will maybe one day a DEV with common sense will be born and realize some of use work in jobs other then programming and have to sturgle to give you money couse we can't get the dam wallet to work.

I'll give you an example Tesla Coin i took me 2 months to get that sucker to work, they fixes some of it since then, but thats' how frustrating all this is.

I hope this gets easier in the years to come and we get more tools like Exodus and less liek the copy/paste QT's.

Although I agree largely with what you say did you check Github? There's pretty comprehensive set up instructions on there aimed at people that aren't tech whizzes and a knowledge base (in laymans terms) is on the road map. One of our main goals with Linx is to reach out to people that have never used crypto before. We want to make this as easy as possible for people with no knowledge of the movement to get on board as I'm sure you'll agree, one of the main things stopping more people even looking at Bitcoin or any of the alt currencies is the highly techy nature of it and how complicated and daunting it can look.

Sorry you had some trouble getting it set up, things have taken off much faster than we anticipated but hopefully we'll soon have the aforementioned knowledgebase and "how to guides" online which will make things a bit clearer for newcomers.

I have followed the airdrop linx .. but do not get [Suspicious link removed]d luck all

The airdrop is long since finished I'm afraid. There will be future promotions though so keep watching.

do you guys have a slack channel?

Would be great to get a slack channel up and running so we can get a community together  Smiley

I have high hopes for this coin! Looking forward to a mac wallet release.

Great work dev team and all others involved!

Not yet but Slack is on the cards, as mentioned above this has all taken off way faster than we anticipated so we're playing catch up at the moment trying to the get the base infrastructure implemented. We've already had to expand our network of servers and it looks like we may have to move the main website on to a much faster pipe as it's getting crazy traffic with the rise in market cap.

This is a great coin to be honest. I just hope that will lead the crypto market on his niche. I just started to mine with my gaming rig, and it does pretty well for the moment with a RX 460. I like that dev team keep this coin alive with updates and a nice roadmap. Keep up the good work guys! Hope we will get Linx on Poloniex!

The current nethash is over 27GH/s. Save your GPU (or put it to work mining ETH) as you're not going to be able to compete without ASIC hardware at the moment. It will cost you more in electricity to run it than you will earn mining it. We didn't expect Linx to get as much attention as it has got so quickly and totally underestimated how long CPU/GPU mining would be profitable. Keep an eye on explorer.mylinx.io and if there's a big drop in hash rate you could give it a go, but right now you'd be better off mining a GPU only algorithm (ETH / ETC / XMR / ZEC) etc..

Just want to say a massive thank you for all of your interest in Linx guys, we're blown away by the messages of support and offers of help. It's really encouraging. Smiley

The installer forgot to put the conf file, what the exact spelling of that file so I can create it manually? Thanks.

Just edited the ANN, but it's..
