is MAX  a ´cryptocurrency DEVELOPER?
what is his background, expertise. also please can we see coding history of OLIVIER?

~CfA~

I'm not a crypto-currency developer. I can do some front-end development, but I don't call myself a developer. Smiley

I made the Lisk guestbook: https://github.com/MaxKK/guestbookDapp
And the IoT dapp BlockData: https://github.com/MaxKK/blockDataDapp (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0T_Ko8f39o)

Both are only small examples (1-2 days of development effort) so that people can see what is possible with Lisk. I'm also responsible for many parts of our website, which originates from Crypti.

https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-website/commits/development

And also actively enhancing the Lisk UI.

https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-ui/commits/development

However, at Lisk I mainly approach possible partners, speak with people, go to conferences, have interviews, manage the business, do marketing, publish videos, create the vision and so on. I'm also taking a look at the UX, as I know what "normal guys" want. This is obviously a process which takes a longer time.

Over time once we hired more people, I will concentrate more on the management tasks and the vision. Smiley

We are a group of Lisk supporters who recognized the need for an investment and trade hub.

Due to strong demand and the thin liquidity on the exchanges we are helping to facilitate LARGE block trades of Lisks, with 3rd party escrow. For more information visit our website:

https://Lisk.Fund

I know the responsible parties of this site. They are legit and trustworthy! A great initiative!  Smiley

so it is safe to click on the link? :-)

which conferences are you planning to attend?

Yes, 100% safe. It's a beautiful site. Smiley

Once launched we will prepare a list of conferences we will attend. In the beginning these will mainly be JavaScript and crypto-currency conferences. Maybe a few IoT ones as well.

See I told you I have Pmed you several times before.  I have pmed you once before this as well.  Now all of a sudden you are denying me of my bounties.

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME???  YOU GIVE IT TO EVERYONE ELSE.    WHY ARE YOU JUST PICKING ON ME.  I AM JUST ASKING FOR BOUNTIES CAUSE I DID EVERYTHING YOU WROTE ON YOUR LISK ADVERTISEMENT.

Your signature doesn't look like the one they asked people to do. Most likely that's the reason. So you can quit your bitching, and read the details more carefully next time.

Yeah, as I said earlier, your signature is not correct. LiskHQ isn't going to give you a bounty for something that you did incorrectly.

Man I did it according to what it said in this post here.  I copied and pasted the stuff in my signature exactly as is.  I don't know why your saying its not showing up correctly.  But I did a straight copy so shouldn't be anything wrong.  And it is showing up as far as I can see it.

You should check next time to make sure it matches with the signature displayed on the OP. If it doesn't, then ask why and maybe the community could have helped you. Perhaps you were a Newbie when joining the signature campaign (which is probably why because BCT limits your signature).

I have asked and PM liskHQ.  Sometimes no response.  I am really upset because I really did what it said in this post and when its bounty time its like I get denied.  I just want to get a fair reward for doing these tasks as advertised in this thread.

you are in danger of losing the goodwill of the Lisk community. your personal equity is losing value with each new post. it is time to draw a line under this issue. make better and  more productive use of your energies here. Lisk HQ and the forum have spoken.

i have seen Phoenix1969 has  39271.07783689 lisk , he is one of those faucet spammers ?

Who knows?  There were a lot of people that got large amounts of testnet Lisk from Oliver and Joel at the start.  You can't just look at somebody with a high number of Lisk and automatically say they spammed the faucet.  Testnet Lisk is free and has no value.  It is used for TESTS.  Nobody was really keeping track of it at the start and it's only important NOW because the testnet population is having to vote for delegates since about three days ago.

This is an interesting intellectual exercise but not a practical one.

Sigh.  We are going to be the first coin whose thread gets to 1000 pages before coin launch.

authenticity audit - the 'bounty bitching' pages would need to be deducted from the total count.

Hey @MalReynolds!!

I have a suggestion for you!  Grin

What about marking on your spreadsheet those nodes who were artificially increasing their approval%?  Roll Eyes

Since I'm a "legit" node and, like you, my votes are from 100% actual people, no faucet spamming, I think it would be a good idea marking them.

It's NOT a clean game from their side.  Sad

Regardless of not being able to do such thing when the mainnet releases, they are increasing their visibility in the top 101 table, and this isn't "too legit" IMO.

Cheers

Historically, MarketCap ranking is directly proportional to Coin Popularity.

Based on graph below, clearly Lisk will reach #3 on MarketCap soon after launch.

So probably $300M-$500M MarketCap, which means Lisk should be at $3 to $5

When Lisk's popularity surpasses Ethereum's popularity, then you can expect Lisk to go above $10

Another graph (Google trends):

Interesting is also the correlation between Lisk and Yobit. With other words: Lisk helps yobit to get more attention. ;-)

i was wondering why they didnt add ethereum to google trends to show on graph

me being such a fab guy il do it for you

yes guys you were dreaming lisk aint beating ETH

agree.

just that needs time. the market has to process that popularity and that can take some time. btc is year online, ethereum took 2 years, dogecoin also. i guess there are also other coin with the same popularity like maid, ripple, you didnt consider here why?

Jeff Garzik: Sidechains a Better Bitcoin Scaling Solution Than Lightning Network

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4etmta/jeff_garzik_sidechains_a_better_bitcoin_scaling/

By running each Dapp on a sidechain to prevent bloating on main chain, Lisk is certainly on the right path.

I wonder how Vitalik missed that for Ethereum, while Lisk devs got it right ?

Looks like Lisk can scale much better than ETH

EDIT:  what does "Lisk" mean, if anything?

Max has said Lisk is an abbreviation for "obelisk" -
"tapering, four-sided shaft of stone, usually monolithic and having a pyramidal apex".

(An Obelisk on Hoheward, Herten, Germany, during a total solar eclipse.

Here's the official logo:

The earliest Obelisks were known as ‘benben’ stones.
They were rough hewn and truncated, but they were tipped off by the pyramidion shape which distinguishes obelisks from other monumental columns.

The spirit of the sun god was supposed to enter the stones at certain periods, and on these occasions human sacrifices were offered to it. The victims were probably prisoners of war who had been captured alive, and foreigners, and when these failed the priests must have drawn upon the native population.

At On, king after king erected benbens in Re’s honour, so that by 1300BC the city was full of obelisks. The Roman author Pliny wrote about this city of On where kings ‘entered into a kind of rivalry in forming elongated blocks of stone, known as obelisks, and consecrated them to the divinity of the Sun’.

In 'Our Phallic Heritage' we are told that 'All pillars or columns originally had a phallic significance, and were therefore considered sacred. Pan, the goat god and god of sensuality, was often represented as an obelisk.  A former witch writes 'The obelisk is a long pointed four sided shaft, the uppermost portion of which forms a pyramid. The word 'obelisk' literally means 'Baal's shaft' or Baal's organ of reproduction' (Page 341 Masonic and occult symbols illustrated. Dr. Cathy Burns)
